Santos was right to call Langdons behavior gaslighting BTW. It was also harrasment. I'd call it abusive too.

As soon as she questioned why she couldn't open a vial he immediately became hostile and abused his teaching position to punish her.

He started kicking her off cases when she was consulting him, he started insulting her when she answered questions, ignored her on teaching cases, and his screaming fit happened after being directly told that Santos listened to Mohan and followed procedure.

And once Robby told him his behavior was unacceptable, he called it harassment, Langdon tried to paint Santos as dangerous to the ER in an attempt to discredit her and get her fired.

I don't understand how anyone could listen to hear explicitly say she doesn't hate him because he's an addict, she hates him because he was abusive and severely fucked with her confidence and self image, and walk away thinking it makes Santos look bad.

so trinity could’ve reported frank to the state medical board but she didn’t.

did she fear another official entity doubting her story? did she fear more retaliation from a man who technically took care of the problem (robby)? was she triggered by the process of formally reporting a man whom she understood had more social capital than her as an established resident with a wife and kids?

her saying she should’ve escalated it, that she had every right to, and yet she just didn’t, means something about her relationship to governing bodies. it means something about her relationship with formal reporting. it explains a lot about her past without explicitly explaining it.

damn trinity, i’m sorry you weren’t believed, and i’m sorry it affects you on such a deeply personal and professional level to this day. impeccable character writing.
