It was a reality that may not come for them, but it was a worthy thing to consider, especially seeing as they found themselves free once before. She only hoped they would find their place one day, a place of safety and peace. She no longer wanted to fight, she just wanted her best friend by her side. It was not hard to ask— or so she believed. However, life had a funny way of treating her to the worst luck. “That sounds incredibly, if only life was simple for us.” She heaved a sigh, resting her head on her knees, tilting it so she could see her friend clearly. “I’d go home— even just for a day, I want the peace we used to have.”
“Hey, why so mopey? Life is what you make it.” Liv pointed out with a shrug. Even though she was a so called prisoner, she refused to sit around feeling sorry for herself or letting that have any affect in regards to her mentality. She still continued to behave how she would whether she was captured or not. “I haven’t known peace in a very long time. Even during school.”
