Cara listened intently, between the shouting that was coming from outside the building, she could hear the tipping of desks in the room to the left of her. Each crash made her heart beat faster in her chest. Her eyes darted around the room looking for anything that would provide a distraction, or a way of escape. Aside from a closet at the very back of the room that would surely mean her eventual demise, there was nothing. She looked across at the windows on the other side of the room and the thought to use one as an escape entered her mind. However, before she could truly settle on it, she heard the footsteps enter the room. And one by one the desks in the room began falling to the floor. She bit down hard on her lip, desperately thinking of a solution to the awful situation she had found herself in. She knew that one on one offered better odds than most people were given when up against Death Eaters, but she still couldn’t help but feel like it was still not in her favour. Her experience with this was in practice alone rather than on the battlefield. Thus, she was unsure how to face the threat. He was moving further from the entrance now, and she knew she had to do something. In a burst of inspiration, she flicked her wand at the desk across the room from her and it transformed into a large, beautiful wolf. Its gaze immediately fixed upon the wizard who had just knocked a desk over towards the wolf and a growl echoed through the room. It was only in that moment that Cara realised that she had just added a potential second threat to this dangerous situation. Of course, it was a danger to him mostly for the moment, as the wolf didn’t appear to see her. Yet.
Elliot slowly moved over the room, tipping desk after desk out of his way, smirking as each one crashed to the ground. “Come on sweetheart... I know you’re in here - there’s no need to hide. I just want to play a little game..” He spoke, his voice low as he approached another desk and tipped it. As soon as he did, his gaze moved toward the wolf that now sat in the corner of the room, its gaze locked on him - teeth bared and snarling. “Are you fucking kidding me?” He hissed under his breath and quickly took his wand from his pocket, pointing it toward the wolf. “Reparifarge” He spoke quickly with a flick of his wrist before rolling his eyes, the incantation refusing to work due to the perfect transfiguration spell on her part. “Congratulations genius, now you’ve got us both killed.” He spoke, louder this time in hope that the hidden female would hear.
