Vanilla Chia Pudding 😍🙌🏼 I remember the first time I had chia putting I found the texture really off-putting but lately I’ve been making my own & eating it for breakfast every second morning 😄 It tastes sooo good with a mix of different fruit + nuts + granola! ✨ Added in a scoop of @tropeaka vanilla lean protein which makes it extra creamy! Full recipe will be on their Insta + website soon today so follow their page to stay tuned 🤗

I often use loud music to calm myself when walking through the halls at school, since large, loud crowds make me rather nervous and jumpy

“Islam says the same as always. That all people in this world have the same worth, and that no person should be spoken about behind their back, be violated, judged or mocked.”
Aleppo is being besieged and bombed by Russian and Assad forces for days now. Their electricity and water supply are faltering, there’s 30 doctors for hundreds of millions of people, UN supplies are being held up because of the intensity of the attacks, and the people have no way out. This is a humanitarian tragedy on every scale.
“It’s easy to forget now, when we’ve come so far, where now marriage is equal under the law—just how much courage was required for Ellen to come out on the most public of stages almost 20 years ago. Just how important it was not just to the LGBT community, but for all of us to see somebody so full of kindness and light, somebody we liked so much, somebody who could be our neighbor or our colleague or our sister challenge our own assumptions, remind us that we have more in common than we realize, push our country in the direction of justice. What an incredible burden that was to bear. To risk your career like that. People don’t do that very often. And then to have the hopes of millions on your shoulders. But it’s like Ellen says: We all want a tortilla chip that can support the weight of guacamole. Which really makes no sense to me, but I thought would brighten the mood, because I was getting kind of choked up. And she did pay a price—we don’t remember this. I hadn’t remembered it. She did, for a pretty long stretch of time—even in Hollywood. And yet, today, every day, in every way, Ellen counters what too often divides us with the countless things that bind us together—inspires us to be better, one joke, one dance at a time.” —President Obama awarding the Medal of Freedom, our nation’s highest civilian honor, to Ellen DeGeneres yesterday, along with 20 other Americans who have contributed to their fields.
Chances
There’s been so many instances lately where strangers have shared with me videos and thanking me for giving them courage and inspiration to share their talents with the world… A feeling that is indescribable because if there is one thing during this journey I hope to leave it’s inspiration. To know I can help even just one other person with their confidence in what they are passionate for, then that is more than I could even ask for.
So here’s my advice- POST VIDEOS! Do you dance? Do you sing? Do you have anything that could be photographed or videoed to share? Then do it! Get yourself out there for the world to see. Drop all of your insecurities and TAKE A CHANCE. Make a YouTube channel, post on your Instagram, post clips on Vine. Anything.
You’ll never know what could happen without trying and taking a chance. The right person just might find you and it could change your entire life. I’m out to inspire anyone with a dream that anything is possible if you put your heart into it. Just take a chance.
