Eliza, how was your life while you were running the orphanage?

i didn't run it on my own, but it was good! it was nice to have a purpose separated from alexander; it gave me something to pour my heart and soul into that wasn't fully family related. as much as i love my family, i would occassionally fear that i had no purpose besides being a family based woman; it was wonderful to be able to use my skills as a mother to help kids who were less fortunate than my own.

hello! i'm doing pretty alright, thank you! i do still talk to my kids! alex jr and pip for the most part. as far as telling people that i was eliza, it's always a slightly stressful roll of dice. everyone reacts differently, and i tend to have to pick my words carefully so i don't some across as an obsessed hamilton musical kin. as long as people aren't nasty about it (which some are, unfortunately) it's not bad.

an update for those who miss me;

i've been in the ER due to some mental problems but i'm out now and i'm doing much better!

today is my birthday which is cool! i've been doing things with friends and that's a healthy change from being so busy that i can't do anything.

i'm going to try to be a bit more active here. i miss you all a lot and i know you miss me. i'm sorry for my extended absence.
