Well, I just thought why not combine the two topics into one, since the blog is both about drawings and about sims.

Jack's eyes is dark blue.... dammit

Unfortunately, I’ve already gotten used to Jack’s gray eyes, but in The Sims 2 they’re quite a light shade, and in The Sims 4 there aren’t any dark blue ones at all. In any case, whenever possible, I give him gray-blue eyes.

English-speaking internet users might not understand a word of what I’m about to say, but I want to talk about something that’s been weighing on my mind. I promised myself I wouldn’t talk about politics on my blog (and I’m trying to stick to that), but as my friend pointed out, “You don’t want to get involved in politics, but politics gets involved in you.”

“Tomodachi Life: Living a Dream” is coming out soon, and on April 16, everyone will be playing the digital version or buying cartridges in stores. I’ll have to wait at least a week, maybe even two, for it to become available on the secondary market, since the game will cost a ton of money in stores (and not even on the release date).

You wouldn’t believe how hard I’ve been trying just to get the demo to download. The eShop wouldn’t open on my console, even though my account and system are set to the US region. I tried sharing a VPN connection from my phone - that didn’t work either. I decided to download it through the website, and thank goodness, it downloaded. However, to open the demo, you NEED A CONNECTION TO THE STORE, WHICH I CAN’T ACCESS. It’s a good thing I at least have a paid VPN with my own settings...

There’s another catch when it comes to buying a Nintendo Switch Lite for my friend. The console needs an adapter and, of course, games. You can find games used online. However, there’s one of them that’s hard to get... Stardew Valley. The cartridge is ridiculously expensive, and I don’t want to overpay for it, but I can’t get the game code either... because the sellers who offer the game come with extra hassles, and I don’t need that. At least this can be solved by buying gift cards, but even here there might be scammers who could rip me off. And as for how to activate it... well... “thanks” to the blocks for the difficulties mentioned above, I don’t have enough of them when making gifts.

And that’s just me talking about my problem. People buy players out of nostalgia and so they don’t have to depend on algorithms. And overall, I’m happy (and I’m currently sorting through a ton of music myself, bringing it back to a human-friendly state), but here it’s taken on a different tone... a forced one. The thing is, they’ve started censoring songs, cutting words out, bleeping them out, replacing them with more harmless ones. And while in the first case it’s a personal choice, here it’s a necessity. I don’t listen to that kind of stuff myself, but who am I to speak for other people’s tastes?

How can I describe this with an example... a stupid one, but still. You want to listen to ASMR, like really intense stuff, where chains are grinding against a grater and you can hear that screech so loud it feels like your headphones are breaking, with an insane bass boost! You hit play and see this:

And it’s not just songs that get this treatment. In movies, they might blur out or censor important plot details, without which you can’t even tell what’s going on. Books might have pages that are completely blacked out, not text, just blank pages! Just think of all the ink wasted on that nonsense!

I won’t even get started on buying “undesirable” books. I decided to listen to an audiobook one day and realized I wanted to have it on my shelf, no matter which version (original or reprint from Intuziasts) it’s only available through sheer cunning and trickery. So, my friend and I were exchanging gifts, and there it was, the original… I just stared at it for a few minutes, not believing my eyes. What have we come to! Buying books like they’re some kind of contraband!

Services are also being blocked, Discord and YouTube - which serve not only as entertainment platforms but also as educational ones, where it’s convenient to gain knowledge or join a university server and receive notifications about important things. Roblox, where kids could even learn programming in a fun environment. Telegram was used both at work and in everyday communication, but it is being replaced by another spy messenger. You can’t access half the websites without a VPN, like Patreon, where I download mods for The Sims. They’re jamming mobile internet, and because of that, many people are forced to pay either by card or in cash.

Then you’re expected to stay where you can’t even breathe.

This affects communication, too. You keep to yourself when people are expecting you to open up and share your thoughts and feelings. And when you hear something outrageous, you just stay closed off - as sad as that may sound.

I just want things to get better over time. People will buy MP3 players and CDs not because everything will be wiped out, but because it’s a fun hobby.🌍🍀✨💦

It seems like AI is everywhere now.

I could understand chatbots with characters where you can just giggle and joke around, I understood that they are used for planning your activities. Or he could help with language learning. But I never understood when AI is used for commercial purposes.

And now when I open Telegram, I see that it offers me to edit my message...

This has become too much.

I just tried to turn off Google's "AI mode," but they buried it so deep that I freaked out and changed my search engine.

And the funniest thing is that the first you see about how to disable "AI mode" it's from AI itself. Ironic.

SIMNATION MAP🗺️ Gibbi Point update

I finally took the time to update the map!

Although it was originally based on other maps, it's now more of a design of its own, which I'm glad about. Because at one time when I was playing, it was not convenient to orient myself on the old maps.

Here's another one for the collection!

I also divided the towns into several zones to make it easier to distinguish them by theme.

Sylvitea or Green Zone is the largest area in Simnation, containing the most towns, and it also has great recreational places in the forests. It's also home to not only regular sims, but also occult sims who have simply adapted to modernity (I'm tired of the caricaturedness, enough...)

Metropagonia or Cities, San Mishuno might have belonged to Sylvitea, but it has grown to the point where it even has two suburbs. One quiet, for family life. The other abandoned, where eco-activists are based.

Sunscape or Sandy Steppes have gathered into their lands all sorts of corners of activity, from romantic honeymooning and creating your own ranch, to filming in the best movies and battling with [DELETED]. All in all, one of the strangest corners of Simnation.

Komorebi is quite a famous tourist spot, with its local festivals and activities, but the most primichachal is the mountain itself, where the bravest Sims want to climb.

Veilora or Magical Zone a place where occult sims can go wild as they please, werewolves don't need to hide their wolf inside, vampires can walk around in elegant clothes and build houses in the Victorian style, spellcasters and fairies can do mischief, and ghosts according to legends this is where they will try their luck and the will of the All-Seer for new life. However, to become a part of this, it will take effort, for entrance to this area only comes through Ravenwood, and for that you absolutely must know Ravena (from the language mod). After all, why should mere mortals know what goes on in the magical world? They have their own worries, and no one needs anyone else's.

Azumodora or Sulani Islands remote from other Regions, ideal for vacations, dating and business. Again, you'll have to learn the local languages for a more immersive experience. Also, according to legends, it was on Sulani mermaids came out for the first time on land and rocked to live among ordinary Sims.

Selvadorada known for its special culture, which some archaeologists are sincerely interested in, going on expeditions. Tourism, on the other hand, is a great way to explore the local culture.

Honestly, I'm a little too lazy to update the map. I might do it, but it won't make much sense, since I want to place the new city near Tartosa as separate islands. Just so you know.

i was playing in my lonely corner, and suddenly everyone on simblr started complaining about someone complaining about something??? mentioning different hoods and ships? this is really confusing for me. we are in a community of a literal sandbox filled with dolls, and somehow there are still reasons to fight about different plots and ship dynamics. but why is that? o_o

i usually know nothing about what's going on, but for me - as a freak who is not really a part of the community and just lurks from their weird corner - the main reason for this is very little space for any alternative opinion. that sounds weird for a fandom of the sims, but i have this feeling for a long time already. for example, i heard a lot of complaining about pasnerv being literally everywhere to the point that it's kinda treated like canon, and when you ship one of them with another character or just leave them being single, it looks weird for everyone (i myself saw comments that were like "but why he's not with pascal??").

and i thought to myself - i dont mind pasnerv being this popular, i like this ship to a certain extent. but for real, where are everyone else?? i literally cannot believe that people who ship pascal with someone else just don't exist. this can't be. usually in fandoms there is a popular ship and a few others that are not this common, but the only alternative ship i saw with pascal was with PT. i KNOW other options are here, but i see no one. Where Are They?? the only people i can remember are the ones who share their gameplay, but when it comes to fanart and fanfiction… Nothing. literally nothing except the most popular option.

it's the same with other ships or interpretations or just anything. a lot of times people talk a lot about the same things and i don't see that much variety of opinion. it's like everyone just agreed to see certain things a certain way, and there are pretty much no other options.

of course, i blame literally no one for that. that is not the fault of pasnerv fans, or tycutio fans, or anyone else. i don't know what are the reasons for that. but for me, these are the conditions where lots of people start to feel pressured into liking something or into agreeing with something they don't like (even if there is objectively no pressure), and that's where the frustration or even open aggression comes from.

again, im literally not a part of the fandom since pretty much no one interacts with me xD (but who does, i see you. and i love you. thank you. it means a lot)… i just can't help but think about all of it since my TL was filled with displeased sims fans.

I’m the kind of person who used to ship Pasnervs, lol.

I have nothing against the pairing, but it’s just everywhere and, honestly, a bit repetitive. Also, regarding Nervous, people often make him a reaper. I get that it fits his backstory, but… is that really it? Is that his only interpretation?

In my game, for example, he wanted to become a marine biologist after hanging out with the Specters and the Curious brothers, who were trying to rescue him from the Beakers. While searching for a hobby, he did yoga once, and his fitness skill went through the roof (is that even legal?). Nervous ended up kicking Loki's ass when he attacked him and ran away to the Curious house (for now) to help raise Pascal and Vicund’s daughters.

'But Nervous loves Pascal, right?' Oh, no. he’s blowing hearts at Vicund, and I’m actually digging it!

Just imagine Norton Spectеr gradually learning how to do chores, helping around the house, and co-parenting. He even grows out his hair and stubble, gets a prescription for glasses (all that reading in the basement took its toll), and starts wearing decent clothes. But because of his terrible personality (genetically, in my game, he has 2 points for both Grouchy and Nice. I don't get why people draw him as a shy cinnamon roll, he’s a total jerk if you ask me), he’s rude to Vicund to hide his feelings. Like a kindergartner pulling a girl's pigtails while parents excuse it as 'he just has a crush on you.' The brothers might even see it as disrespect for all the effort they put into his rehabilitation! To me, that’s way more interesting.

By the way, I’ve only ever seen Nervous with Ajay Loner once (they adopted a kid), but everything else is just Pasnervous.

Also, have you ever thought about… Lincoln Broadsheet/Don Lothario/Daniel Pleasant? Linky could be tailing those two while trying to solve the Bella Goth mystery, only to find all this drama…

Don't be surprised by my weird ships. I also ship Elliott/Sebastian/Sam from Stardew. And I keep thinking about how different ships would interact in the Yoshi group. Yeah, they won't be canon, but who the hell cares?

The point is, you should enjoy it and not bother others. If someone has a different opinion, don't force something that isn't even canon on them. We’re literally playing with dolls! Whether it’s Pasnerv or Vicnerv, the main thing is to love and respect each other.

So, I hope you all remember Elizabeth Seymour? I want to tell you about her major love interest in Strangetown, namely with Lincoln Broadsheet! (Or for short, Elinky).

Warning, the post mentions the topic of stalking and includes hints of nsfw. I also realize that this relationship is unhealthy. So if you are not ready to face these topics, then just don't read.

Let's start with the concept of ship, it's all very simple coincidence)

I mean, in Urbz he was still working in journalism and socializing with his young daughter, and judging by the fact that we can flirt with him, he had already divorced his wife. And then when the cuckoo completely went, he found his place in Strangetown and “private journalism” after his exile...so wording.

And what about Eli? I haven't really told her lore pre-game (and only that she sees Strange as a place for vacation romances)

Not knowing what to do with herself in life, she tried to follow the well trodden path of most sims "Work, family, kids." And she started with a job as asecretary. Dressing in a diligent suit and tidying up her hair, she tried to be a good worker in the campaign fulfilling her duties. This is, after all, “Real Work” is what 's why her job is respected in the community.

However, she is fired due to an accident and later suggests to Gretta (who also had a poor job) to go on vacation and unwind. Already in Strangetown, looking at the local community, questions about the way of life begin to arise in her head. After all, if here you can be a mad scientist and a detective who doesn't care about anything. So why can't she just be an artist? But where to get inspiration for paintings? But then Emily came to the rescue, and romance with art began to actively replace each other in a dance of emotions and a bright passion.

Oh, who cares? Elizabeth belongs to him now.

But the young woman is not so simple. Having a bunch of lovers is not so easy, you know.

You have to go to each one, talk to each one, give precious little time. Ah, it's worth it, because watching the sweethearts in their most intimate moments can be a great inspiration to all living things.

Especially Lincoln. When he goes crazy in love with her, it makes her feel so alive and happy. This man smells like books in a library, sweet like chocolate-apple pie in a coffee shop, the combination of espresso with hazelnut makes you want to bite him so badly. And his stories about conspiracy theories are imbued with a passion for exploring this world. Those who banished this handsome man from Miniopolis are insane themselves.

Hello-hello to the Tumblrs!

Huh, I've been away for a very long time ":) You know, been living my life, touching grass, and working for a gamer-quality laptop. I don't really have much to post on sims either. But… I completely forgot that this blog is not only about sims, it's about everything in the world! Maybe there will be posts-reviews of books I've read, and the update of the Simnation map is not far off.

Backstage Goliath and Jack

Hello, darlings! Well, do you like it?) I know it came out a bit crumpled, after all, this is my first experience of storytelling in Sims at all.

And when I was reworking the posts, I saw some mistakes, I think I can fix them in the future. But for now, let's just talk about them.

This is a long post so brace yourself ;P

So, as I already said, it all started in 2021. Like any other creation, by chance ":)

That was the first time I downloaded the Sims 2, before that I played the “short” versions as a child. Namely Pet and Neighborhood Stories.

I created Lucy and she basically did the usual Sim stuff, worked in a ballet, solved crosswords in the newspaper and led a completely normal life. (Then for some reason I lost her... and had to create a clone ":з But overall she hasn't changed.)

Later, with the help of a fortune teller, Luke appeared (I only recently found out that he was in Sims 2 ALL THIS TIME, that is, he was not randomly created...(⁠･⁠o⁠･⁠;⁠)), they got married and our cute friend Goliath appeared! (Yuppie! My boy ( ＾ω＾ ))

I created Jack's family later in the game, I didn't want to make him alone and I added a family, albeit a template one.

And to be honest, even though I don't like changing the genetics of characters, I had no idea what kind of eyes Jack had, or what kind of hair Lily had. And were they twins?... I DON'T REMEMBER! In that saved family, the hair was red, well... I left it. (Although I really like how Lily turned out in Sims 4 :з)

As for the houses, I chose them completely randomly.

Goliath's house is simple and standard 196 Main Street, and Jack's house was, let's say, a placeholder 1097 West Dreaming Drive.

However, when it came to Sims 4, I didn't want to bother and moved them into random houses (which turned out to be for other families. Namely the Contrary and the Bell families), I just wanted to start playing for them as quickly as possible.

(besides, they are very close, yea...(⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠))

Of course, I won't enlighten you with the full story of my boys, but I can tell you about my game and the ordinary everyday life of the Alens family.

So, I played out the story, oddly enough, in my head for the most part... yes, like this ":) This was before the renewal of my dynasty, where I really played out the events. Until recently, I didn't know that I could play out school days on some school lot, or even in the library or "club center". The Halloween party was also not originally planned, I thought of I'll cause an incident in Goliath's house, but again I played out the story in my head. Although I liked the option with the party and the Goliath's "forgotten" glasses more, to be honest.

So, what was the routine like? Basically, Lucy was solving her crosswords, improving her ballet skills and working. Luke... I don't remember exactly, either he was sitting at home or also going to work. In turn, Goliath lived quite calmly, studied well, socialized and did his childish things. And then... He became a teenager. And I wanted GAY DRAMA! So I quickly created Jack's family and settled him next door.

In short, they just met at Goliath's house and could go on a dates. (And also cuddle a lot on the couch and slow dance, he he(⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠))

So, a sudden desire to transfer everything to the Sims 4 appeared one day when I missed Goliath and Jack.

I launched the Sims 2 and... nothing much happened, to be honest. And then I went to edit their families in CAS Sims 4, which I created a long time ago just like that. Then I came across a save for the Sims 2 for the foursome and the idea came to recreate their youthful atmosphere.

In Sims 4 I was already trying to play the story in a normal way, let's say. Usually I alternated between guys, and it turns out I played on their behalf (and the posts would not be one-sided, I guess...) I'm not a fan of planning every action for a character, sometimes it's worth it to swim in free flow and listen to the game. However, I still keep notes in Sim Calendar Planner from Yellow Llama Co. + templates from Samsung notes. It mainly contains basic information about the characters, ideas for future chapters and their titles, a calendar, a list of upcoming tasks or goals, and a map, just in case. Also, free writing on a particular topic is good for giving story ideas.

In some cases, I had to come up with other ways to play back some stuff. A trivial example with ballet, I replaced it with cheerleading. Or with the same tipping “point” with the kiss situation, instead of Goliath's house - a party. Speaking of houses, and now I honestly regret not changing them at the very beginning. But the moral is that to have to deal with problems as they come.

Well, where would I be without memes in the writing process)

Phew… Tip number 1: If you are translating a story into different languages, DO THE TRANSLATION AND POSTS AT ONCE! Otherwise, like me, you will feel a slight cringe after a while…

So, initially I just wrote dialogues under the pictures, but over time I realized that it was not very convenient and thanks to these two buns I started editing posts even more. And what was before? Frames with emotions, and even then I made a screenshot specifically for them, just to enlarge and insert. In short, after the dialogues came frames with emotions, but already in the form of templates, then clouds of thoughts and sketches joined.

Here's an example with the quality, and resolution of the collage itself.

It seemed to me that for tumblr 4:3 is not very suitable, mostly everything is done on 16:9. At the moment I've merged them just for convenience.

Here's where things are pretty sparse on the first one too. For that matter, action buttons will be fine here.

And also tip number 2: to avoid writing cringe-worthy dialogs (I have trouble with conflicted ones…) then thought and conversation clouds come to the rescue! :D

As with the previous one, they will complete the picture. (Also, if necessary, make the screens lighter).

Due to the 10 photo limit, I had to do mostly collages, and realizing that, I let…. Screenshots like this, lol.

In the story "Forever in Between" by rebouks, I accidentally found Lily while reading the story!

I like to think that in an alternate universe she actually studies and thinks about going to university. And not like in mine, she worries about her brother X) not everyone knows, but I'll remind you that you can download her here <3

In conclusion, I want to say that even though this is not a masterpiece, I still love these little silly boys, with their difficulties and desires.

It's a pity that at this point in the plot I can't share with you all the jokes with them, it's too early :<

But... it's not too early for someone else! One person has been following them all this time, namely my friend, hehe :з Back in 2021, I told her individual moments from their story, and in 2024 she was waiting for new posts from me. Thank her so much for her support!

If you're a supporter of toxic positivity in the Sims fandom, you can pass by. It's just a cry from the heart.

You have seen the latest EP gor the Sims 4, I don’t need to explain that this is “Get to Work” 2.0. Even without playing the game, it’s hard to see that its potential is not used to its fullest.

I have no complaints about the Build Buy or CAS, but the gameplay and performance without bugs... Nuh uh, I've had enough for now.

To be honest, I think in the future I will try to switch to the Sims 2, at least until something really changes in the Sims 4, and not, as usual, in words. (Although it is unlikely.)

Not long ago I saw that it turns out that simmers does reworks of hairstyles, clothes and furniture from the Sims 4 to 2. And also became interested in creating my own neighborhoods. Crazy, but this is so cool! I also found a small group on the Sims, and honestly, I missed the warmth, where there are no scandals and fights because of mods and accusations.

But apparently in the Sims 4 fandom there will be a cycle of “New pack - Delight - Complaints about bugs - New pack”

And I don’t like to close my eyes to problems and justify anything. So... Since the situation is not improving, then apparently I will listen to the "advice" and "play something else" than stay in the swamp of 93 packs.

I just wish you games without bugs and to find a cozy corner in this community, now that's really all :з

Backstage Goliath and Jack

Hello, darlings! Well, do you like it?) I know it came out a bit crumpled, after all, this is my first experience of storytelling in Sims at all.

And when I was reworking the posts, I saw some mistakes, I think I can fix them in the future. But for now, let's just talk about them.

This is a long post so brace yourself ;P

So, as I already said, it all started in 2021. Like any other creation, by chance ":)

That was the first time I downloaded the Sims 2, before that I played the “short” versions as a child. Namely Pet and Neighborhood Stories.

I created Lucy and she basically did the usual Sim stuff, worked in a ballet, solved crosswords in the newspaper and led a completely normal life. (Then for some reason I lost her... and had to create a clone ":з But overall she hasn't changed.)

Later, with the help of a fortune teller, Luke appeared (I only recently found out that he was in Sims 2 ALL THIS TIME, that is, he was not randomly created...(⁠･⁠o⁠･⁠;⁠)), they got married and our cute friend Goliath appeared! (Yuppie! My boy ( ＾ω＾ ))

I created Jack's family later in the game, I didn't want to make him alone and I added a family, albeit a template one.

And to be honest, even though I don't like changing the genetics of characters, I had no idea what kind of eyes Jack had, or what kind of hair Lily had. And were they twins?... I DON'T REMEMBER! In that saved family, the hair was red, well... I left it. (Although I really like how Lily turned out in Sims 4 :з)

As for the houses, I chose them completely randomly.

Goliath's house is simple and standard 196 Main Street, and Jack's house was, let's say, a placeholder 1097 West Dreaming Drive.

However, when it came to Sims 4, I didn't want to bother and moved them into random houses (which turned out to be for other families. Namely the Contrary and the Bell families), I just wanted to start playing for them as quickly as possible.

(besides, they are very close, yea...(⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠))

Of course, I won't enlighten you with the full story of my boys, but I can tell you about my game and the ordinary everyday life of the Alens family.

So, I played out the story, oddly enough, in my head for the most part... yes, like this ":) This was before the renewal of my dynasty, where I really played out the events. Until recently, I didn't know that I could play out school days on some school lot, or even in the library or "club center". The Halloween party was also not originally planned, I thought of I'll cause an incident in Goliath's house, but again I played out the story in my head. Although I liked the option with the party and the Goliath's "forgotten" glasses more, to be honest.

So, what was the routine like? Basically, Lucy was solving her crosswords, improving her ballet skills and working. Luke... I don't remember exactly, either he was sitting at home or also going to work. In turn, Goliath lived quite calmly, studied well, socialized and did his childish things. And then... He became a teenager. And I wanted GAY DRAMA! So I quickly created Jack's family and settled him next door.

In short, they just met at Goliath's house and could go on a dates. (And also cuddle a lot on the couch and slow dance, he he(⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠))

So, a sudden desire to transfer everything to the Sims 4 appeared one day when I missed Goliath and Jack.

I launched the Sims 2 and... nothing much happened, to be honest. And then I went to edit their families in CAS Sims 4, which I created a long time ago just like that. Then I came across a save for the Sims 2 for the foursome and the idea came to recreate their youthful atmosphere.
