Hamadorks with wings, based on a drawing by non-fatmilk, based on a Winged Hamada Bros. AU by sorarts.

I honestly could not think of colors for their wings–I was going to give Tadashi black and white wings (original Baymax colors), and Hiro red an blue wings (updated Baymax colors), but then I didn’t want Hiro’s wings to be the only colored thing in the image; same problem when I considered making one brother’s wings brown and the other grey.

I actually think I’ll keep working on this, because I like their colors now, but I’d prefer if they were slightly more natural-colored–like Tadashi’s wings would be blueish-grey, as opposed to obvious blue, and Hiro’s wings would be reddish brown.

I put more thought and time into this drawing than I needed to, because I actually don’t like it that much…oh, well; just another excuse for me to keep drawing the Hamadorks!  (Like an need an excuse, though…)

This was such a horrible idea because I’m already swooning and I haven’t even started developing this concept…

Based on a post I reblogged from @viera-draws-stuff, Tadashi and Aladdin apparently have a lot of physical similarities, which is fine and dandy with me because I adore both of them and even if they sort of look alike, there are enough differences between them in personality, mannerisms and even in physicality that keeps them from being clones (I give a more detailed opinion under the text post).

That, and I’ve been wanting to draw Prince Tadashi for a few days, but I was never really sure which get-up to go with (Euro-based outfit like Edward? Japanese-design? Just create a royal version of his everyday clothes that has no real geological basis? Something Baymax-inspired?). Honestly, there’s a lot I can do with this idea and I sure as shit want to keep working on it (including come up with prince designs for Hiro as well!! Can’t forget the precious Hamada baby!).
