“That doesn’t really count”
“But halloween’s like. The best? Why wouldn’t it count?”
Parker nodded, letting a hiss out between his lips. “Yeah, fuck.” Watching her, his stomach knotted up – not expecting her to return the sentiment. “Knew you did.” He breathed before pulling her closer to catch her lips once more.
“You did?” Lizzie said, surprised and stopping for a moment as she looked at him. “I kind of thought you’d be. I don’t know. Like. Like it would be news or something.” To keep from feeling embarrassed, she started to work at his skin again, her lips burying kisses on him until she felt safe with her emotions.
“No?” Parker ran his hands down her sides and tilted his head. “You know I love you, right? I’m teasing.” Sighing, he looked down then gave little shrug. “You mind warming me up?”
“I -- yeah. Yeah, I do.” Lizzie nodded, her hair falling while she dipped down to leave a mark on his neck. “Like that?” Her knees dug into the snow on either side of him, starting to unbutton his pants. “I love you too.”
“Maybe I am still teasing you – it’s just lowkey now.” He stuck his tongue out, realizing it might’ve been that he was a little salty too. “Yeah I am.” He rubbed his hands together. “Are you?”
“It doesn’t feel like teasing.” She pinpointed, staring. Then she shook her head, still looking. “No.”
“I know – that’s why I wanted to fuck with you.” Leaning down he moved her coat slightly to kiss her neck. “I won’t, I’m too comfortable with where you’re at.”
“Rude ass. We used to tease each other a lot, before.” Lizzie said before blushing and realizing ‘before’ had an infinite list of descriptions and a big lack of definition. “Are you cold?”
“I was just teasing.” He leaned up, reaching to pull her onto his lap. “Did you miss me?”
“Yeah, but -- so was I.” Lizzie sighed, looking away while he pulled her up. “Yeah, don’t do it again.”
Trying to continue walking, Parker found it more difficult once Lizzie was wrapped around his leg. “Bab- Lizzie, come on.” He tried to move again but fell into the snow. “Looks like we’re gonna die out here.” He mumbled into the snow.
“You walked away from me.” Lizzie pouted, ignoring his other statements. How messy.
Parker set Lizzie down in the snow and started to walk away. Little did she know that he already owned both, and he wasn’t here for her criticisms.
“Hey!” Jumping after him, Lizzie just started poking him incessantly once she’d caught up to him. Then she plopped down in the snow and hugged his leg. “What’s wrong?”
Knitting his brows together, he suddenly realized this wasn’t some kind of bonding sacred time – it was just a good time. “Do you want me to chap my ass?” He teased, it hurt – but he couldn’t let her know that.
“No, but I do think you’d look good in assless chaps. And boot sandals.”
Parker attempted to catch a few more kisses before responding. “Of course it’ll be okay. I missed all of this, you – around the holidays. It sucks without you.” Nudging her up his back again, he started to walk, toward what he thought was where other people were – or even further away. “Yeah? Can we get hot chocolate on the way and then fool around in my car?”
Lizzie was quiet at that -- she wasn’t sure how to respond to it. She knew she agreed, but probably not in the same way. Because quite literally everything had turned to hell for her in the past few years. He didn’t need to know that, though. “We can even fool around on the hood if you want.”
Not expecting her to kiss his face, he turned his head to catch her lips. “Are you really sorry?” Looking down he gave a shrug. “I just have to bake around my house and make a turkey, but I’ll be over. We can spend it like we used to, right?” Testing her – he wanted to know if she even remembered what they did.
When he caught her lips, she didn’t pause -- she kissed him back gently before nudging him and staying there with a few more kisses. “Yeah, I am. I just wanna be okay. It’s Thanksgiving.” Lizzie shrugged, pressing her face to his cheek again. “Yeah, of course. We can even go look at lights.”
“No, stop. Please.” He sighed, stubborn as ever. Upon feeling her nose, he turned his head to look at her. “Okay, don’t twist the knife, Elizabeth.” Walking quietly with the only sound his feet crunching into the snow, he stopped. “It’s not like I don’t want to.”
“Hey.” She prodded, feeling kind of bad for pushing. She just wanted to tease like they were used to. She -- “I’m sorry, hey.” In a stupid split second decision, she started to kiss his face. “You should come over for Thanksgiving. Or for dessert, if you already have plans.”
“Are not. Stop.” He sighed dramatically, even though he was embarrassed about said squeak – he was just happy Lizzie was on his back. “You wouldn’t dare. How would Linda feel about you abusing me?”
“You are, though.” She said softly, her face peeking over his shoulder now while she pressed her icy cold nose to his cheek. “Not sure. You haven’t really seen her in a while? So.”
“Of course not, it involves sparklers and snow. I have a super cute photo idea and I need a model.”
“Oh -- a photo idea, right. What do you need me to do..?”
“I am not, Elizabeth!” Parker tried to say sharply, but a squeak came out, he’d blame that on the cold weather. “I am, but I’m being your transportation.” Sighing, he started to walk. “My tiny queen.”
“Are toooo.” She teased, now arguing merely for the fun of it. Lizzie heard him squeak too. Got him so good. “And I thank you for that. Deeply. But if you call me tiny one more time I'm gonna punch you.”

Bell: it's thanksgiving and i feel like giving back to the community
Bell: so tonight after dinner, i'm having a charlie brown thanksgiving marathon + drinking game. you coming?? drinks are on me.
Lizzie: Question. Does the drinking game involve Charlie Brown? Or?
“Okay, but listen. Just listen. I think there should be a day where it’s accetpable to where onsies out of your house. Don’t say you disagree, because I know you don’t”
“There already is. Halloween.”
