Everything happens for a reason

Do you ever wonder what “could have” happened if an event didn't happen? Today I woke up to a lot of snow outside, and after I cleared my car off and shoveled I sat in my car wondering if it was worth the danger in driving into work today. Or at least attempt to on an unplowed road. But as I was sitting in my car I received a message. Let me skip back a moment. I was supposed to close on my house tomorrow and was super excited to do so after a two month wait. So going back to my point, I was sitting in my car and received a message about an unfortunate event that happened with the house, and therefore I will not be closing on the house tomorrow and it is being postponed. Last night the owners went to the house and their was a pipe that broke in the upstairs bedroom so there’s a ton of damage to the upstairs bedroom and downstairs, so they now have to do a ton of repairs. After I found this out it really upset me and I ended up calling out of work due to the major disappointment. I even bought paint the other day for the walls. I am a very positive person and I am trying to look on the bright side of things. But I was thinking...like...maybe this saved me from an accident...or saved me from SOMETHING. Always stay positive folks, everything happens for a reason.
