Abbott Shipper Kind Appreciation Post.
I just needed to do this))
“I’m looking for someone who uh - someone I can trust. Someone strong. Someone at peace with themselves. Someone better than me. Someone who knows the… worst side of me and still loves me.”
“I just want you to know that i really want you to be happy, and that is the most important thing to me - that you do what makes you happy.”
“I play games, I lie and I trick people.. to avoid the truth of how I feel. And the idea of letting anyone close to me is terrifying for obvious reasons but the truth, Teresa, is that I can’t imagine waking up knowing, that I won’t see you. The truth is I love you. It scares me, and it’s just the truth. It is the truth of what I feel. You deserve to hear this. I love you, Teresa and it makes me happy to be able to say that to you.”
“I meant what I said, every word of it.”
Happiness is so hard to find. Once you find it, you better hang on tight. Or you lose it.

I read this in one day. It was so great. Loved the continuation of what could have happened in 4.10. And the end made me tear up (in a good way!) - damnit-jane
Favorite Teresa Lisbon Moment – Tunney Week
Well, I thought I’d include two dramatically different moments – an angsty and a happy one. Maybe it’s way too masochistic but angst, as much as it may hurt, is an important part of TM and Lisbon’s life, too, it made her what she is, molded her. I think that the way Robin acted in the final scene of BEG is spectacular. There can’t be more contradiction between what Lisbon is saying and what her face is screaming about, the casual tone of her voice – and her eyes that are filling with tears. All her expressions and movements send Jane signals with which she’s trying to tell him she loves him and only needs one word of his, a hint of hope, probably, just his “Please, stay”; and she’s also trying to grasp and interpret the signals he’s sending her, hoping for a manifestation of a returned feeling. You can see how hurt she is and how torn and how trapped in the situation she herself created. And how her heart breaks as Jane doesn’t say what she is longing for. Robin’s such a master.
And the other scene is of course the series finale pregnancy news, it’s impossible not to mention it, and no posting seems enough. It’s such an opposition to the above one, Lisbon is finally entirely happy and confident that her man is here to stay. She’s delighted, overwhelmed with emotion and anticipation, she feels that she is connected to the one she loves, to her now husband in all the possible ways. She’d never been happier, and she is glowing with that happiness trying to embrace its power over her. It must be immensely difficult to portray this feeling, probably, more difficult than pain, but you can feel it’s there, inside her, radiating through her and making everything around alight with it. It brings tears to my eyes every time I watch the scene.
From the very beginning TM for me was as much about Lisbon as it was about Jane. It was impossible not to fall for her loyalty, professionalism, her rationalism which never contradicts her faith in god, her level-headedness, no-nonsense attitude, her good and compassionate heart, her honesty and humaneness. I enjoy every single moment when the latter is emphasized and when she looks into people and hears them rather than look through them. Considering how much she has suffered in her life and how much pain and death she has seen as a cop, she could have come to a point where her heart could have become callous and insensible as a self-protection mechanism. On the contrary, she is able to feel for people, to still be personally involved with their destinies and willing to help. While not idealized, she’s portrayed as a very positive realistic character, a person deeply hurt in the past and still recovering from that but someone who has not retreated entirely from the world and is still capable of empathy. Her loyalty to Jane is admirable, and I suppose he feels from the moment they meet that she’s able to challenge him, question his methods and ask him questions he’s not ready to ask himself as yet. He also feels that she’s the one he can trust completely and it’s even more amazing because they don’t always share the same point of view. She may be very vulnerable at heart but she’s strong, too. She’s frank, she’s sensitive, and noble. She rarely lets that out but she craves to have someone in her life that will be her home, and there’s a void that needs to be filled inside her heart. And Jane senses it and they sort of click together from the very start and they don’t let each other collapse under the burden of their pasts and gradually let each other in and allow themselves to have a dream to be happy together and fulfill it.
This a companion post to this.
Jane over the phone worried about Lisbon’s safety. Simon’s acting is perfect in each case, he so masterfully shows how a wave of fear envelops Jane and you can feel how he shudders because he is helpless and cannot see Lisbon or save her. I can never get over the way how in the last scene his expression goes from concern to despair in seconds, light dimming in his eyes as he realizes the woman he loves may no longer be alive.

A lovely fresh and sexy jisbon summer story - lililove87
Lisbon is so serene in this scene, glowing with the happiness of her new state of a wife and mother-to-be. She’s not nervous, just a little bit perhaps, because she’s been keeping her secret until after the wedding to make it stand out as the beginning of their new life, because their baby needed to be given this moment when it was the center of everything. She knows that Patrick can only react to it in one way, and she’s confident. Love how she bites her lip in her own unique manner and looks at her love enigmatically like the mystery she is, letting the realization of the miracle they’re both part of spread all over his being as she watches his reaction.
