Time to Rev it Up Again or An Update of Sorts

I abruptly stopped attending to this blog, (as well as my others) and never gave too  much of a reason why. Lots of things happened, some sad, others extremely joyous, and way too much to begin sharing in this post via my mobile device. (Have I ever mentioned how I dislike this touchscreen, I know, I know, it makes me sound like a fuddyduddy) (holy crap, did I just say fuddyduddy?) It's not to say that I have stopped crafting, I just stopped posting about it.  I promise to share what has been going on and I would like to start again the process of posting my daily adventures in crafting.  I hope that if you are still following me or are new to following me that you will see something that you will enjoy. Thank you RachelBonicelli for the follow! I greatly appreciate your support.  You inspired me to get back to it!

Day 96

I stopped at Michaels to see if they had any good sales.  I didn't find much in the ways of crafting or art supplies but I found these incredibly adorable Tea note cards and notepads.  If you want me to send you a Tea note card send me an ask with your address and we can be penpals : )

Day 95

Heres an update on the blue cover that I started in February.  Obviously I didn't finish it in time to use in Arizona but I'm trying to make time to work on it a little each day along with my other projects.

Day 94

I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of the necklace I worked on today.  I had a person ask me if I could fix a clasp on a necklace and it was a beautiful rose quartz beaded necklace.  I brought it home and all the jumprings I had left were too large to fit in the hole.  I gave her the necklace back and told her I would have the parts soon.  I came home and saw these lying on my dining room table and remembered that I forgot to take a picture of me working on it.

More shopping.  Today we went to our local Target. (but say it in your head the fancy way.  I got some amazing deals! 14 cents for stickers! Yes please!  I bought them all : )

Another shopping day!  Again to my secret store.  I would tell you but only in person.  I don't need everyone to go there and get all my goodies before I do! 

I got some scrapbooking stickers. Like I need anymore. But hey, I NEEDED THESE!

Day 88

Oh Crazy 88!  I took all of my blue colored Sharpies and just started doodling blobs of blue all over the page.  Maybe a blue light special.  Maybe I'm feeling blue.  Crazy 88!

I've been hemming and hawing over which paper to use as a background for these photos of my Darling Hubbins great great Grandmother.  I think I have the layout and the embelishments down.  I only need DH's opinion on which color to use for the mat on each picture. I enjoy doing these projects solo but when it comes to some projects I like a little input from him.

I scrapped together a layout for a scrapbook page of my Darling Hubbin and his BFFF working on music together.  Better LATE than never.

Day 85

I went to my favorite secret shopping spot and picked up these cute plastic envelope style folders.  I'm going to put all the warranty stuff for our new bed in them and slip them in between the mattresses. I love Micky and Minnie.  They remind me of me and Darling Hubbin.

Stripes and all things linear make me so nervous. I have to keep telling myself to just let my hand do all the work and not nitpick over the straightness of each line.  Now to only color it in.

I used just a plain ultra fine black Sharpie for this.  I think I want to color it in with colored pencils.  What do you think?

Day 81

I saw a skirt with a pattern like this at Old Navy.  I haven't been in that store in years.  I wanted that skirt but they didn't have it in my size.  So I decided to try to do the best possible rendition of it on paper but I don't think this is working.  I need to see it again!
