I remember when Guy Gardner was dead
I miss those days. Having his guts ripped out by Impierix really is the only good thing the braindead little cunt ever did
And oh look what a surprise, some fucking cishet whose part of the lime green space pigs hates the idea of a queer trans woman having power that her and the rest of the evil smurfs little errand boys can't control
We really need Emerald Twillight II to happen
#someone get Fire&Ice in here with a muzzle and leash... their dog has escaped his crate and is Doing Stuff again.
Guy Gardner reminds me of that Onion News Network sketch where the supreme court decides that free speech does not apply to a specific man "Because the only other option when dealing with him would be for all nine of us to collectively beat him to death with our hammers"
...idk i'm not super comfortable with talking about Jessica Cruz that way, I thought her storylines about grappling with anxiety and fear and learning to overcome them, plus the way her marginalized identity and (understandable) gap in her past leads to difficulties in regular-world employment that contrast with her responsiblity as a superhero were really compelling. reducing her as 'another cishet lime green space pig' feels wrong to me
also guy is fixable, just need to turn him into a woman again and have him remember that misogyny is a thing
āLiving weaponā covers a lot and all of it is hot
@sludgetoxicmilkshake
these variants with bombgirls y/n
I feel like row 1 column 1 row 1 column 2 row 2 column 1 row 2 column 2 and of course row 2 column 3 are all really hot ideas for bomb girls not that I don;t think the rest could be good, more that for the rest I feel theres a degree of restraint (in craving without release) or finality (in the 3rd row being them having comitted/be in the process of exploding)
Im
so
so normal about row 3 column 3, ehehehe~

Explaining homestuck isn't hard and doesn't take ten thousand paragraphs to do y'all just don't know how to summarize things.
Homestuck is a webcomic where there is a multiplayer video game called Sburb which is a standard component of reality itself. Sburb, when played, destroys your original universe and transports you to a liminal place called a Land where the goal is to create a new universe and reality. Because all the realities are made by previous players of the video game, there's a large cast that follows multiple timelines/realities. Because all of this is also a video game, there are some bugs/hacks/glitches. Much of the later plot of Homestuck revolves around trying to glitch reality in a way to kill an unkillable glitched final boss to save and fix the timelines/realities which were all glitched to being unplayable/unwinnable because of it. There are a variety of mediums in which the story is told and the guy from Undertale did a lot of the music for it.
Yes, because that's not explaining Homestuck, that's writing a book report. This is what I mean when I say people don't know how to summarize.
I don't think I'd call that "explaining homestuck" then, though. There is more to a story than the world it's set in.
You don't need to explain the concept of Jujus, galaxy frogs, classpects, and x2 planar defenestration combos to explain Homestuck. Overexplaining is actively counterproductive to what an explanation should be, which is to make someone understand the bones of something.
Also, I don't want to spoil people! Homestuck is a genuinely cool webcomic that I think handles itself really fascinatingly well and I would rather give the above explanation which doesn't immediately overload them with shit like ectobiological theory and lets them come across it at their own pace.
Explaining the narrative is an entirely different ballpark than explaining the concept of Homestuck. And explaining the narrative isn't explaining Homestuck: it's giving a book report.
lost me in the first sentence homie
That's your problem with reading comprehension then my dude, not my problem with clarity.
"Homestuck is a webcomic where there is a multiplayer video game called Sburb which is a standard component of reality itself," Isn't as digestible as you seem to think it is. I mean, I'm sure it makes perfect sense to someone who has read Homestuck, but to anyone who hasn't, that's a huge suspension of disbelief to come right out the gate with.
My dude, I have some real bad news about any and all stories ever told and suspensions of disbelief about them. This is literally a you problem.

cave johnson here. due to an incident in the estradiol experiments department, the boys in said department are now girls. silver lining though, the girls in the estradiol experiments department have made a new breakthrough in the fight against male pattern baldness.
@demilypyro
saw someone trying to roast this guy on reddit but all the comments were just like "fuck off, that's based"
nature is healing
simonjess doodle that turned into its own thing
been thinking about how all the human lanterns have willpower that's flavored slightly different from each other:
hal: willpower as daring (he's always doing the bold thing, even if it ends up being a mistake, like parallax or scapegoating himself, but a lot of the time, bold is what they need)
guy: willpower as grit (he's rough and tumble, always getting knocked down but also always, always gets back up)
john: willpower as integrity (he tries so, so hard to do the right thing every time, and sometimes this results in hard decisions, but he at least tries to do what's right)
kyle: willpower as creativity (he's an artist, obviously, but beyond that, he also had to answer "what does it mean to be a Green Lantern?" without the help of a corps around him)
simon: willpower as faith (exclusive to him as a GL are healing and future vision, which i think are a nod to the miracles of Islamic prophets, and even in the text himself, he is able to do these things because he chooses not to believe in the limitations he is told, and rather to believe in himself; he also at first struggles to trust in his ring, as communicated through his carrying of a gun on his person, but he later overcomes this)
jessica: willpower as growth (i think it's fair to say that jessica, more than most GLs, has to overcome fear more than most, but i think it's also a really important part of her character that anxiety will always be with her and that her journey with mental health doesn't have to be linear to be significant)
jo: willpower as perseverance (she's incredibly driven, but she was also directionless, which is why she kept failing to find the right "system" through which to better the world--until she became a GL)
keli: willpower as survival (her backstory is all about how she had some very hard circumstances and had to work to survive, and as the youngest GL in mainline comics, she's also gone through it, but she always makes it out okay)
kim: willpower as resourcefulness (tai at first dismisses that his grandma could be "creative" as a GL because she didn't seem the type, but it's pointed out to him that it must take a lot of creativity to start over in a new country; i think it's fair to say that this creativity can be flavored as resourcefulness, especially since kim is shown to have been a leader in her community even after coming to the U.S. as an immigrant with nothing)
tai: willpower as harmony (i mean "harmony" in two ways: first that teamwork and cohesion is a big motif in tai's books, and second that tai has to accept his new "heritage" of his grandma's legacy as a GL into his identity)
i'm your only friend (realizes that's statistically unlikely) i'm not your only friend (considers my positive qualities) but i'm a little glowing friend (suddenly gets cold feet) but really i'm not actually your friend (remembers to be confident in relationships) but i am
Honestly it might just be the hrt talking, but there's nothing quite as erotic as slamming a pile bunker, or most other melee weapons into another girls' mech.
See I prefer my ballistic kinetic projectile slamming into another girl's cockpit
Have you considered: - The thrill of watching an enemy pilot shudder under you as you grind your mech's chest mounted AC20 across their mech's waist - The superb feeling of watching a missile streak down to send an enemy to kingdom-come - Spraying your enemies with napalm like fire-foam to cook them off, sending gushes of hot white loads across them Yep! Thats right, for the low low price of "leave your mech in my repair bay with no oversight" you too can have all the most disgustingly sexual features installed to wow and horrify your fellow pilots. Also Canopus called, they want their aces back
Can't lie, the feeling of watching an enemy stop all movement as they gaze upon the hells barrage of missiles is very lovely
But getting a hit marker ping from my rifle can't be beat
im a dumb bombslut so maybe its just the shape of the missiles and what they promise that also turns me on besides just the power dynamic between you and the enemy who realises its their end. Let me go check to see if im right-
@ultimasheir !
hiiii
Missiles aren'y my thing, sorry~! I'm not so much bloodthirsty combat bombslut so much as the dread of a countdown bombslut! Sorryyy
I had a dream about Columbo at a drag show. This is what came from it.
I'm waiting for him to explain to me how his newfound love of drag allowed him to prove I killed my business partner
