I am tied between wanting to write a Undertale fic about Gaster (from aspiring intern to the Royal Scientist all the way to the fatal accident to my head cannon that he split across time and space and Papyrus is his soul part) or a Legend of Zelda fic where Link and Ganondorf are best friends who have to stop Zelda (who in this universe sought all wisdom and eventually went power hungry) I am leaning towards the former but... I don't know.

Fanfiction Written By Young People

Freelance worker lives in huge, gorgeous house/apartment in expensive area despite never seeming to be working

Characters work 8-5 office job with hour-long commute, but go to bed no earlier than midnight and get up in time for morning sex and long, leisurely cooked breakfasts every day

Do these characters even have jobs?

Single parent has way more communication with child’s teacher than is normal; leads to dating; administration somehow has no problem with this.

“I know I could never afford this mansion, but it’s OK I inherited it.  No, paying property taxes isn’t difficult on my salary.  I don’t even know how much the place is worth.  Are property taxes a thing?”

There are two levels of cooking skills:  gourmet food every time no recipe, and sets pot of boiling water on fire somehow.  No one is ever in between these two skill sets.  People on each level always end up dating each other.

Despite the gourmet meals described needing like seven pots to cook, no one ever does dishes.

Character shares a bottle of wine with their date (2 and half glasses each), and they both get falling-down drunk.

Later, one of them drinks an entire bottle of whiskey by themselves and does not die.

* I have to mention that this is something I don’t do lightly, as I have fairly strict policies on what is and isn’t posted on this blog, however this is an exception I’m making for a close friend by my own volition (she did not ask me to do this).

* A great friend of mine and her mother have some very, very critical financial issues (not by their fault, might I add), and this said friend happens to be a really great artist, who is currently offering commissions by half their regular price.

If you guys were wondering, once long ago I used to draw a lot. I didn't get a lot of views, but seeing one fav or that one comment on deviantart made me happy. I was slowly chiseling out my own style and I wanted to open up commissions eventually. So I started looking on the internet on the best way to setup shop as you will. What I found however wasn't advice, it was people claiming realism is the only way to go and that "your style" would never be anything more then kindergarten art. So stupid me decided to force myself to go realistic. Slowly, art wasn't about being a fun thing to do, and I eventually dropped off the map. One day last year I told myself to just draw something, but do it how I wanted too. I realized then that I shouldn't let a bunch of elitists know it judge me. People offering constructive critisim aren't bad, people you tell you your art has to be this one style and that you suck are bad.
