under the plot you’ll find some potential connection ideas to fill! i’m very flexible about them, and very open to tweaking any of them! i wrote them in like 10 minutes srry i’m excited
𝐨𝐧𝐞. you’ve made an enemy of each other— perhaps lj said something that rubbed you the wrong way, maybe you mutually did something to get on the nerves of the other, but it's clear that there is no resolution in sight. she does her best to ice you out, as any interaction between the pair of you leads to an unnecessary argument. though lj would never admit it, she sort of enjoys being your arch nemesis. your arguments, though annoying, can even be riveting. all in all, though lj would never admit it, you are a worthy adversary.
𝐭𝐰𝐨. much of what lj has accomplished is built on the image that she’s created for herself. this means that her reputation is everything. she maintains the illusion of perfection, but this is impossible to maintain at all times, and what happens when someone catches her in this distressed state? it’ll most likely alarm lj more than it would alarm who saw her— but depending on who it is, she would potentially be mortified to have been caught slippin’. something like this might cause her to make a new friend, or maybe an enemy.
𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞. you were lj’s official welcome to strathmore. the pair of you met at a welcome party for 1st years, and wound up breaking in her bed after one two many drinks. needless to say, she never quite forgot you. the two of you don’t talk about it much; the closest you’ve gotten is an exchange of awkward glances. will the two of you ever talk about, and is there even really anything to talk about?
𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫. you are the best friend she has at strathmore and perhaps the best friend she’s ever had. you’re the person she’s always seen around campus with— the person she always calls when she doesn’t want to each lunch by herself. she’s even opened up to you about her mother’s disappearance, something she has not done with anyone else. you’ve seen the best and worst parts of her, and for that reason and many others, you’ve earned her respect and fierce loyalty.
𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞. you were the closest lj ever got to being in a relationship. what started off as a friends with benefits relationship gradually spiraled into something more— something in far more dangerous territory. she had feelings for you, and you had feelings for her— shouldn’t everything have been so simple? unfortunately, it wasn’t. you were the first to bring up the feelings, and lj panicked, resorting to self sabotage, informing you that it was best that you kept the dynamic the way it was. you continued the relationship for a short time after that, but it would be you that decided to break it off. she had not expected the two of you to be in such close proximity within the society, but its awoken some unwanted feelings regarding her wounded heart and ego. she fucked up and she knows this— but she isn’t quite ready to admit this.
