Welcome to the Queerlander Fic Masterlist!

The goal of this list is to be an in-progress, flexible resource for Outlander fics that focus on Queer stories. Please use it, share it, discover new stories with it; in short, have fun with it!

I ordered this Emmy book as soon as I saw the link on SM.   I have this entire photoshoot in printed form.  Early on I bought everything and anything I could get my hands on ‘Outlander’ Sam & Caitriona.  Heck, I even donated $$$$.$$ to BloodwiseUK and won the Fedora that Sam wore in the movie Emulsion.   I’ve never in my life done anything so bold.  Was never a part of any SM platform until I found Outlander on STARZ.  That was August 2014.  Went out bought all the hardback books from B&N and fell down the ‘rabbit hole’.   If anyone had told me that I would meet the 2 lead actors, I would have just laughed and blew them off…..well, that said, I met both, 3 times.  I look back and think, WTH happened to me?  Am I nuts, obsessed?  Still here, no real answer as to ‘why’.  But, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, I will hopefully be here to see the truth in what brought me here initially….the love between Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe is not a figment of my imagination, but a truth that I embrace.

Jamie sat in his office at the station trying to focus on the file in his hand.  He tossed it to the side having just read the same paragraph for a fifth time. Leaning back in his chair, he rubbed his eyes with the heels of his hands.

He missed Claire.  

He shook his head in bewilderment.  It wasn’t like they weren’t independent people.  She had a career, as did he.  He should be able to go a week without her and not feel this unsettled.  

He opened up their texts.  Edinburgh greeted him.  She’d sent him photos of the view from her hotel room, and his heart tugged again.  

He was a good enough detective to know the motive behind his feelings.  Claire was in Scotland at a Forensic conference, and he was in London.  She was exploring the capital city of his country without him.  That wasn’t how it was supposed to be.  They’d been up a couple of times, to visit Jenny, Ian and the kids but that was different.  That was Lallybroch. 

This was The Highlands.  

And Jamie had always wanted to be the one to take Claire through the Highlands.
