scott lang learns to like himself through his daughter.

not love. he’s not sure if he’ll ever get there. but it’s fine. he can do with liking himself.

he’s never seen himself getting to this point. he’s weird, quirky, too…much sometimes.

he thinks about cassie, thinks how she shares his sense of humor and most of his quirks. how she’s unabashedly proud of who she is.

if scott can look at his daughter’s quirks and love them, how can he not even like his own?

it’s hard, and a difficult process. but he tries.

so no, he doesn’t love himself. but liking himself might be enough.
