i got bullied for stuttering so bad as a kid that i just learned to not speak if i had even the tiniest suspicion i was going to stutter. i’m 30 and still have to fight that impulse. and apparently im right to do so.

like. i unsubscribed from taylor nation emails during the LOVER eras bc all it was was just news of limited edition drops. but at least that was actual merch, and there was actual promo for the album itself. now all we get in “promo” is 15 minutes on a podcast, and countdowns to buy various versions of an album we know next to nothing about. and it comes out in a WEEK. the only actual merch we’ve gotten so far is a cardigan, which a) is basically copy/paste of the others in a different color. and b) knitwear does not fit the “showgirl” theme at all. it feels like nothing is creative anymore. we just have some cool pictures. woo.
