"Long ago, there was a babe; born and in the few minutes after he was born he was stolen by the raven who heard his cries aloft his tree. And in the instant the raven swooped in and grabbed the babe and left. The mother, cried back at her babe that now was in the arms of the raven. But alas her cry was faint because she was weak. The raven brought the swaddled babe underneath his tree, and there, he tried to please the saddened child: first he sang, but his squawking wasn't pleasing to the young newborn, second he went and grabbed what made a rattle; however, it was still not enough, thirdly and finally he tried to feed the babe, but still, it did not like the crawly bugs that he ate. The babe cried and cried, so enough. He'd had it. He released the child back to the mother who thanked him, but as punishment for taking her loving child, she slew him." This project has taken me much time and effort. This is a reflection from a memoir that I'd written for English; however I wanted to also do something that I could transfer to make a connection to one of my characters In my story that I am writing. Shoutout to my awesome instructor, you've been an amazing person to learn from and for that I thank you a lot.
