✨ Alternative reaction to Thirain pointing out that you're a Knight and a relationship would be inappropriate because this was actually dumb af, I mean, all potential candidates were commoners except for Ms. Nahun soooo
But it is what it is and in reality Lalica bby will start to stay away from him, curl up and die in her SH...or in her captain's cabin lmao. Asking him if she was a potential candidate as well was way too embarrassing and humiliating to even look in his eyes ever again. But well, it's Thirain we're talking about righttt, he notices and takes action early enough (/▿＼ )
✨ After taking care of the soldiers and learning that Thirain keeps having sleepless nights, she grabbed a book about herbs and went herb-hunting haha. Luckily found a small pot in a metal scrap pile in some random corner of Zagoras Fortress too. Crouching over the mini fireplace she made impromptu, she cooks sedative tea, looking like a complete hobo 👍
✨ One of the very first things I gave Lalica was that she loves reading books (...romance novels being her guilty pleasure tho kek). I always imagined that eventually, when Lalica and Armen were calling it day again, she asked him to read books with her or just skim through pages whenever there were some available.
Over time this became some sort of evening ritual for them :>
Here I imagined them (also in Zagoras Fortress) to just do exactly that again and she's about to make Armen burst out laughing for the first time with her as blunt and goofy commentary as ever. Thirain, who is still curious about this duo, was on his way to pay them a visit to chat and hang out a little but nearing the door to their room, hearty laughter and excitement fills the hallway.
"Come on Armen, it DOES look like one. You can't deny it!!"
After hearing Armen gasping for air and having a hard time to vocalize his agreement, Thirain carefully knocks and opens the door but instead of feeling sorry for making such a noise, Lalica jumps off the bed, rushes right over to him and almost slams the book right into his face, seeking for his opinion on the drawing in question.
✨ I always thought about the intimacy this Delain duo must have going on (like not in a sexual way lol). And I thought having a secret together or well, crying in someone's arms is hella intimate haha.
No matter how ecstatic and joyous she feels finally being able to experience Arkesia, the burden of being a Delain suddenly became unbearable, so much heavier outside of Feiton. But with Armen by her side she has a safe space.
Even though he avoids talking about it compared to Lalica, I'm pretty sure he also feels some sort of comfort and relief with her by his side.

Thirain is always so covered so I wanted to see him with...barely anything on for once 🤣 Idk. Just imagined a scorching hot summer in Luterra that makes everyone feel like doing nothing as it's the complete opposite where I live right now haha.
Plus wanted to draw Lalica wearing pretty lingerie and a shirt that came with sleepwear Thirain once gave her because this ultra baggy sleeping shirt not only looked uncomfortable and breezy, it was driving him WILD on top of that lmao.
I imagined this being part of an elaborate editorial and interview that was sponsored by some prestigious lingerie brand in collaboration with a renowned Arthetinian women's magazine, something like Arkesia's Vogue or Elle basically 🤣🤣🤣
Being an international 'celebrity' but hard af to catch, interviews with Lalica are an absolute rarity so this issue sells like hot cakes I guess.

HEAD’S UP ARTISTS THAT RESIZE IN PHOTOSHOP. This really saved my life. I’d noticed that gross halo around art whenever I resized something but never knew how to get rid of it til Onta showed me and ahhhhh. I’m just so happy there was a solution to it so I really hope this helps others out too!!
