I am intrigued by public consumer relationships to crafts and the things we value in western culture. This in mind i have used traditional processes to make a range of decorative teapots that go against traditional design. some of these items are listed on my etsy page! please like and share my posts!

Single white ceramic coaster. 4 inches Square.

Designed and made by myself looking into Plymouth's Navy port, and its history. Drawn with an old skool tattoo vibe looking how this once subcultural trend of tattooing has become more mainstream part of society.

Currently selling these on etsy!

These coaster are glazed on one side and can be washed in warm water but hot is not recommended to keep the detail on the transfer.

Some better images of smaller pieces i made during my final year at university. almost one year on and i’m feel more confident in my style however its developing. The teapot collection took a totally different path once i started making as an artist in my own studio and not at university. my work has started to become a part of me and connection with the world. can see this from looking back at older images- i can see how my style and skill has developed already.

Black stack and single red teapot 2014 - looking into consumer relationships to crafts. i started to creating sculptures out of teapots as these had become a widely recognisable household item made often from mass industrial ceramic processes.
