★★★★study log + drama talk ★★★★★

Its been a few days since the last update but ive still been keeping up. Ive had to prioritse work to meet christmas deadlines but ive been keeping the habit of consuming Korean through stories and media. Ive also kept up my daily diary which has been the biggest boost to my language confidence. I had a bit of a bad day yesterday and wanted to process it through journaling but I pivoted to doing a speaking exercise and pushing myself to find the words to express such emotions because I need to not because its a textbook prompt and it was a really refreshing exercise.

I've been watching a lot of dramas as I work (I'm a commission artist) so here's some I recommend right now!

a really light-hearted and fun watch and simple enough you can have in the background. Also i love how Ju Yeon is really just a loser(affectionally) .

this is perfect if you're getting that winter ‘lost in life’ feeling. I really love the way they show you can start again whenever you want. And as someone who had a similar bout of depression as her I really loved how they showed that it doesn't just go away but as you heal you will learn to be gentle with yourself.
