Sirius leaned back a little so he could get a good glimpse at Remus, studying him without saying anything for a brief moment. His eyebrows furrowed together but he kept quiet, truthfully just appreciating the fact that he hadn’t been pushed to the floor. Invading personal space wasn’t anything new for him — hell, he was practically unstoppable by the time he got used to people being affectionate instead of pushing him away. A touch starved childhood left him all too eager to latch on to those he was close to.
He let his eyes close When Remus fingers threaded through his hair, not bothering in attempting to stifle the soft groan that escaped from the action. Sirius would willingly stay the way they were if he had the option. feeling a little more relaxed than he had been just minutes ago with playing with his hair all to blame on it.
“Thankfully,” Sirius chuckled. “You had me worried since you’ve got me beat in avoiding the flat. It’s not fair.”Â
-- “I’ve been busy with work. By the time I get home you’re already gone. You know how it is.” And it certainly didn’t hurt that he’d been doing his best to avoid any chance encounters when Marlene might be here. It was bad enough when it was someone random Sirius had pick up from a bar. With Marlene, not only did he know her, but he also had the experience to fuel the images he didn’t want dancing around in his brain. “Why? You haven’t missed me have you?” he teased the other, giving a playful tug of his hair, maybe a just little harder than necessary. But certainly not hard enough to run him off. Let him indulge for once, he’d earned it.
