Hey there! I’m llumiastra on AO3. Anyone can call me Lumi! I write STH fanfics, mostly Sonadow. My favorite trope is slow burn, and I tend to lean more toward writing AUs rather than canon-based stories.

Sometimes I think about Nebrasska’s fic The Secrets in Our Quills. I stopped around chapter 14—just about to start chapter 15—and it’s been two months since I last read it. I really want to get back to reading, especially writing, but there’s just so much on my plate. It’s only been a week since uni started, and I’m already packed as hell, even with personal life stuff.

By the way, I joined a literary writing club, and I’m kinda nervous.

Oh god, you guys don’t know how much I haaaaate writing Sonic’s POV. I always struggle with it—seriously, his perspective is the one thing holding me back from making progress. I already have so many scrapped drafts just from trying to write Chapter Six, and to make it worse, his POV is supposed to be the intro of the chapter. I want to move on and write the rest already, but how can I if I can’t even get past the start? T__T

I seriously need to remind myself to stop getting into other media when I’m in the middle of a big project, LOL. I just finished watching TADC while working on Chapter 6 of my HTLAH fic, and instead of focusing and writing, I spiraled into reading character analyses, reposting tiktoks, and diving deeper into the fandom XD I’m trying my best not to let it take over my brain right now because if it does, it’s gonna become my whole personality and this fic might not get updated anytime soon.

I’m currently finalizing the titles for my future HTLAH chapters and everything’s looking good—except for Week 4. I’m so unsatisfied with it, I already have a bunch of scrapped titles, lol. I just hope my readers actually pay attention to the titles because they carry a lot of meaning and are really important to the story. 🙏🏻
