Especially if it included…. wine? Pizza? Blankets and plenty of space to cuddle?

Maybe because you’re so sexy and gorgeous I think it is a big possibility that she would understand. Plus you know how much she loves you, so the support from her would be endless. I think maybe she just wanted a dog of her own so she did a test run on your own dogs. Hmm, maybe there’s a chance you could go with her? You know it’ll include all of that stuff, especially some doughnuts and wine because she knows her girlfriend all too well.

I think you might have to do some big making up to her darling, she’s probably very upset about having an empty bed to go lie in. She probably filled it was all of her girlfriends puppies, didn’t she tell you she was thinking on even getting one of her own? That’s a good question, probably somewhere quiet, where no one can see them and I can have her all to myself.

Emily giggled at the look on Lindsey’s face when she took Pookie away, she was pretty sure she made him pissed off as well as he chose to lean his head on Lindsey’s shoulder. Aside from Stephen she was pretty lucky to have a warm and loving thing in her life, something she could never take for granted. She shook her head at Lindsey giving in, she leaned her head on her best friends shoulder for a few short moments. “You know I am just looking out for you because I love you right?” She questioned softly as she lifted her head up to plant a kiss on the brunettes temple. She smirked almost downing the bottle, she knew once the alcohol would hit her they could really get into some deep yarns. She waited for a bit till the marshmallow in her hands was lightly brown before she opened her mouth to take a bite. She licked her lips laying another one over the firepit before taking a Graham cracker and some chocolate out of the bag. Emily gave her friend a sympathetic look hearing her troubles. She hated seeing her best friend stressed about a new relationship, but then again she hadn’t seen Lindsey this serious about someone in a while. So that only told her how much Lindsey really did love Caity. “There’s nothing wrong with being attached to someone Linds, it only just shows how important they are to you. If she doesn’t like you back, I will kick some sense into her. But don’t let that woman stop you from showing your true feelings if she doesn’t feel the same way. The best thing in a relationship is honesty and that’s what you deserve” Emily let out watching the fire cackle. Emily breathed in for a moment “we can relate on feeling something so strong for someone because I feel that way about Stephen, and it’s so dumb because it’s this early in our relationship. I guess it scares me too… I am afraid of digging myself a hole so deep I may fall in it… Does that make any sense?”

Yep, feeling the need for a furry animal to be on Lindsey’s lap was now a priority, she wanted what Emily had they way Pookie looked at her and the way she looked at him right back. She playfully rolled her eyes at her best friend’s comforting moment. “I know I know, and I appreciate it but Em... Don’t worry about me okay? Just worry about how amazing this fire is, and how awesome of friends we are” Lindsey teased poking her tongue out in reaction to Emily. She raised an eyebrow seeing Emily down the bottle, she smiled before finishing her own. She brought out two other bottles from the box and handed one to her best friend. Lindsey was not an expert at roasting marshmallows and her camping expierence was shit so seeing how perfectly well Emily’s marshmallow turned out made Lindsey envious. She turned her head to her own marshmallow now which was covered by small shots of flames. She shook her stick a little bit before leaning it over to her lips. Hey, at least marshmallows tasted good even with burns. Lindsey began to think of Caity, and all her beautiful glory as she hummed at the thought of her perfect girlfriend who she was falling in love with. “You and Nikki both okay. I won’t, but what I want to know is that she’s going to be the right person for me. I guess that can only be proved with time right?” She said leaning her head back more into the chair. Lindsey moved her head over so her eyes were on Emily as she spoke about Stephen. “You know, it’s not actually dumb. If it is? Well then we’re both fucking dumbasses, but if you love him and he loves you there’s no stopping the strong and deep feelings you have for each other. And that’s something special for you precious blonde.”

Caity laughed softly. Of course she wasn’t going to spill to Em that Linds had helped orchestrate stealing her dog but it was funny. “We should. I don’t think she’d mind. Maybe we could get Mel and Katie too? That way she wouldn’t feel so left out? Just have a big sleepover, you can sleep in my bed.” She sent a wink to her girlfriend. “Sounds like we do.” Cait bit her lip.

“Hey… I don’t ever want you to feel scared to tell me anything okay?” It hurt a little to hear that Linds was afraid to tell her how she really felt, no matter Caity’s own feelings, she wanted her girlfriend to tell her anything. “You wouldn’t scare me off, I promise. I might… need time, but you won’t scare me away.” She beamed when Lindsey said she loved her too. Emily had been right, they were a good match and Cait couldn’t believe she’d gotten so lucky. Caity ran her fingers through Lindsey’s hair, accepting the kiss with a smile. “I do. God I do mean it.” she murmured. “I love you so much and it feels so good to be able to say it. You make my life so much better. I can’t believe you agreed to go out with me and be my girlfriend. I think it was the best decision you’ve ever made.” she winked.

The look on Emily’s face when she found out Pookie had gone missing was pretty darn hilarious, but Lindsey of course had to play the best friend card and support her, instead of filming it. “That sounds like a perfect idea! Therefore if we get too lovey dovey then she can go to Katie and Melissa. I would sleep in your bed right beside you, sleepover or not” Lindsey teased. 

Lindsey let a soft sigh out before squeezing her girlfriend’s hand. “I guess I’ve always been one of those girls who use actions as words, which is why I’ve never felt confident enough to tell my love that they mean more to me than they know” she replied feeling a little guilty for not telling Caity anything earlier. “I don’t want to lose you, never. And I mean that with every ounce of my beating heart I promise.” Lindsey could hear Emily’s ‘told you so’ right away, but Lindsey was lucky enough to have landed such a striking woman. She smiled into their lips touch caressing her girlfriend’s cheek. “I love you just as much, if not more and it’s one of the best feelings in the world to hear you say it back babe. You? I can’t believe you asked me out, I didn’t believe in love honestly. I made a mockery out of it but that was until I met the best woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on” she exclaimed with a smile.

“I’m so telling her it was you when we get home if she hasn’t already conned it out of Kate by that time.” Caity laughed, pulling Lindsey closer to her. “Oh trust me, she might pretend she’s mad but two days max before she’s texting you begging to hang out cause she misses you. I know her, she can’t stay away.” The blonde gave a wink as she sat down, waiting for Linds to order her drink before she continued to speak. “Yeah I talked to Candice a little and she pretty much said the same thing.” Cait laughed softly. 

Looking at their joined hands, she bit her lip. “I love you. I have… practically since we met and I know I said I wanted to take things slow, I still do, but you deserve to know that you’re loved.” she spoke softly before looking at Lindsey. “I’m sorry it took me so long, well… not really long in the grand scheme of things but you know what I mean. And I’m not just saying it cause it’s Valentine’s Day. I’m saying it because it’s about damn time I do and I’ve wanted to say it for weeks now.”

“Noo you can’t do that, I like my friendship with her and I will lose it” Lindsey said rolling her eyes playfully at her girlfriend as she followed her pull wrapping her arms around her. “You, her and I should totally have a night together. Well maybe she might feel like a third wheel but I know she both loves us so much that she won’t mind” Lindsey exclaimed shaking her head. She pulled her own chair in before resting herself down on the table. “Looks like we both have our girls steering us in the right direction” the brunette said letting out a soft laugh.

Hearing Caity’s words Lindsey instantly stopped, it was pretty much everything she had ever wanted to hear. “God I am so glad you said that Caity. I have been so scared to say something because I was afraid I would scare you off since I knew you said to take things slow. But I love you so much, and I want you to know that” Lindsey let out. She reached over the table to plant a kiss on Caity’s lips. “It’s okay, things like these take time to say and I know you’re not just saying it because it’s Valentines Day, I know in your heart you truly mean it. I have been wanting to say it from the moment I met you. I’ve never been with a girl, let alone actually been with one but you have made it the best experience possible.”

Does anyone else feel like 2019 is damn fast? Wasn’t it Christmas just yesterday and now it’s mid feb and winter is, like, over soon? Whoa, crazy. Whatever, hi, I’m Jesse and I’ll be moving my stuff in over the next few weeks. Whenever I’m catching a plane back from LA another few boxes will get here. In the mean time, since my buddy Sarah has been raving about this place, I’ll just have to check if she’s right. It’s good to meet you all, though.

Normally I would agree with this, but it feels like 2019 is going quite slow actually. Maybe that’s just me waiting for the season of my new show to come out, or any show for that matter. But it has gone pretty slow. Hey Jesse! It’s great to meet you darling, you must be really good friends with Sarah if you moved here with her words convincing you! But she did a good job, it’s always awesome to see new faces in the town. What part of town did you decide to call home? I am Lindsey!

Emily was indeed lucky to have Lindsey in her life, the two had a very awesome friendship where they were partners in crime. She also couldn’t go a day without thinking about what Lindsey would say to many of her actions in her life. She always needed some words of advice from Lindsey and now more than ever with her current relationship with the man she was falling for. She knew Lindsey was the only one who could understand or at least the only one she could trust enough to tell her everything she was feeling. She was thankful how natural their friendship formed. 

Emily giggled at her dog’s subtly before lifting Pookie off of Lindsey so she wouldn’t get anymore smothered. She was so lucky to have bought Pookie as a Christmas present herself, her home seemed a lot less lonely in her home in the burbs. She rolled her eyes playfully at her best friend “look I am allowed to worry, I know you can kickass but you never know the situation ok? Let me be worried, especially since you don’t have Caity or I in town” she said with a shrug. She took a sip of her lagar feeling in the nice taste of her favorite drink. She gave the brunette a soft nudge in thanks for the great night they were going to have ahead of them. She took one of the marshmallows out of the bag, as she pulled it through one of the sticks she leaned it over the firepit. She leaned her head on her hand directing her eyes towards Lindsey as she spoke, she gave her a small sympathetic smile. “I know what it’s like to fall for someone yes, but I normally compromise at the speed of our relationship. I am guessing you have fallen for Caity and now you’re scared to lose her? Lindsey… Just tell her, the worst she could say is she doesn’t feel the same way. And that’s okay because then you do know where your relationship is headed.”

Lindsey instantly missed the feel of Pookie licking her face, such an adorable dog was something Lindsey wanted to grab up and run away with. Maybe it only proved more that she needed a fur ball of her own. She would probably feel a little less lonely aside from having Caity, that and maybe her best friend would stop worrying. “Okay fine, I will lock my door and put a security alarm one okay?” Lindsey reassured shaking her head. She took a nice big gulp of her drink. She gave the blonde a soft smile feeling her nudge, she made sure to grab a stack of Graham Crackers and chocolate just in case they wanted to make smores together. She took a stick of her own as she poked a marshmallow through it setting it over the fire pit. She listened to Em’s advice closing her eyes as she took a breath, what Emily was saying felt very calming to Lindsey and hearing that she was going through something similar felt easier to think about. “She’s great Emily, she’s sensational in fact but knowing that I feel the way I do makes it even more worrying. I am starting to get attached and that scares me because it means I have more to lose” Lindsey said closing her eyes to process her thoughts. “You said you were going through something similar... Or you know what it’s like. What do you mean by that?”

But they don’t really go with Joseph. You should keep those names for your baby.

Oh god I hate that word, cute it sounds childish but at least I kind of like it when you or Cait say it so I should deal with it. Shhhh, don’t say it out loud. Yes in love would be the perfect way to describe it. Yet it’s one of those things where you don’t want to say it out loud because you’re scared the other won’t feel the same way. You will? Maybe you can join up with Emily because I believe she said the exact same thing. You’re right, I mean if she doesn’t want kids and marriage I can always... I don’t know leave the town for 9 months and come back with a kid. As for marriage, well I had a friendship one a while back but it wasn’t the same. Oh god yes! Nikki! I am so happy for you, you did such a good job because he is the cutest boy, from what I have seen from pictures at least. I think I am losing my touch, loving another. But I am sure it kinda suits me right? Look my girlfriend might not be happy about me marrying someone else, but if she doesn’t want to marry me down the track then I will be happy to have you. You know what? I actually will keep those down on a list for future reference.
