We left Higashiyama behind and, after a 30-minute walk — many slopes and stairs, it’s a challenging and pretty tough walk — we find out Utatsuyama Park, a quiet and lonely place 🌸🌸🌸

It is worth a visit, if your legs are ready 😏💪🏼

No problem, anyway. Our visit of Kanazawa goes on ✌🏼

Ok, here we go! Just arrived in Kanazawa.

We immediately left our backpacks at the hotel — the APA Hotel Kanazawa-Ekimae, just a 5-minute walk from the train station — and we’re already on the road, ready for a first sightseeing.

Today’s destination is the ancient district of Higashichaya: silence, narrow streets, bridges and wooden houses 🏡

After a 2-hour train ride — a little less, maybe — we get to Kanazawa Station ✋🏼🚉

This station is so clean! And it’s quite big, too: just think that it hosts shops, fountains and green areas with flowerbeds 🌳🌺

Goodbye Tokyo! 🖖🏼

This is our first time on a Shinkansen, the well-known Japanese bullet train 🚅

Destination: Kanazawa.

Before bedtime, a quick look at Akihabara — or Akiba, as well — the technological and manga district of Tokyo, which is located close to our capsule hotel in Ueno. So weird and different from our traditional and historical districts here in Rome... 🏙

In Ginza, we found the Sony Building, a colossal palace of nearly 10 floors filled with any kind of Sony products. Does it exist? Here you can find it, then 👍🏼

Here we go! Walking through the clean and large streets of Marunouchi, a prestigious and modern district set in the center of Tokyo, very close to Higashi Gyoen 🏙

You can buy it at Marunouchi Building, just opposite the Imperial Palace East Garden (a 3-minute walk, let’s say...).
