As the task leader of the Yinglungs, it's a skill to be stubborn and hard headed to ensure the safety and security of Wuling remains undeterred. Even if it means turning down aunties by the river from stepping any closer into the docks since they insist the soldiers should have homemade hearty meals instead of eating jerkies and plain rations all day.
As a woman who lost everything in the incident 10 years ago, seclusion is a choice and reclusion is what follows. Arcane doesn't see the meaning of building a relationship with other people if they're only going to stray away from her, either because of her work or what she is.
But as a lover, Li Zhiyan tries her best.
It has been years since the last time you two had a meaningful talk to one another. You could've sworn she forgot about you as there was little to no contact from her ever since the two of you graduated from Tianjian Hall. You two separated to pursue your own paths in life, Li Zhiyan went to YSTF and you became a Tianshi.
It's not to say what you had before going in your separate ways was nothing, at least, that's what you tell yourself. It's difficult to actually read what Li Zhiyan thinks of you, of your relationship. The shared nights and warmth might just be nothing to her.
Doubts endlessly swirled in your mind as the years passed, you sent her countless messages and letters in hopes that you'd at least receive one reply from them but it was for nought. At least, Chen gives you updates on the happenings of her life ever since she left Wuling and joined Endfield.
But when you received a call from Tianshi Zhuang that you've been chosen to be one of the Tianshis that would help bring back North Wuling, you were more than ecstatic. Though, your excitement was quickly halted when you saw Li Zhiyan- or Arcane is the more appropriate name to call during field missions.
Neither of you exchanged words during the operation. Just quick glances. Neither of you can't afford to be distracted, this is a high risk mission after all.
Mostly you.
But during the small moments of peace, Chen would be the first to come up to you and greet you and reassure you that everything is going to be alright and this mission will be successful. You pray for it.
As Chen tells you all of the things she has seen and enemies she has fought while a part of the Crisis Team, you couldn't help but let your eyes wander to the side and see Arcane is watching both of you.
You don't know what's going on in her head. Her eyes held nothing but stoicism. Both of your gazes landed for a full second before Arcane was the first to pull away, walking off elsewhere.
"Hey, I know this is gonna be a weird and probably bad question but... Do you still like Li?" You brought your eyes back to Chen. It was a question you didn't think she'd ask but she must've caught the glances you've been giving to a certain liberi.
"It was a bad question, Chen." You muttered though it held no malice.
"Sorry sorry!" Chen pressed her hands together for forgiveness as her tail swished behind her.
"I'll tell you once this mission is finished. Can't afford distractions, you know."
"Of course. But, just point it out there, Li feels the same, she's just terrible at how to go about it." Chen leaned in to whisper as a conniving smirk etched across her lips. You can't help but giggle at her goofy expressions.
Then, Chen got a ping, signalling her to join back with her team as the next phase of the plan is about to commence. "Oh, gotta go clear the next checkpoint, see you later!" Chen waved you goodbye and hurried her way back to the Endmin and the others.
You waved in return, watching the energetic lung sprint her way over to the Endmin and that grey haired liberi girl you've noticed Chen is fond of. Arcane is with them as well.
After the front team departed from the 1st checkpoint, with the help of the xiranite nexus paving the way through the thick blight miasma, everyone is on high alert for any unseen attacks from the blightshades. But as for the moment, the walk has been quiet.
"What did you two talk about?" Arcane suddenly breaks the silence as she walks behind Chen.
Chen glanced over her shoulder to look at the liberi, "Huh? With who? I talked to a lot of people back there. Mifu, Uncle Pan, Tianshi Zhuang-"
"With Reader." Arcane didn't even give Chen a chance to finish.
"Oh, nothing. Just catching up with an old friend. You know, you should do that while she's here. Might do you some good, you've been pretty stiff lately." Chen replied, but Arcane turned her head away.
"I can't afford any distractions. Not now."
"She said the same thing. You two really are alike." Chen turned her head back in front, her attention now shifting to Perlica.
Leaving Arcane to dwell on her thoughts as she blankly stares at the ground, her heart grows heavy at each step but she can't understand why.
A burden that has been neglected for so long has now been unchained. Of all times, why now? Why can't she just forget about you?
The moment she saw you again back at Yinglung Pass, Arcane could've sworn her heart both leaped and jumped off the nearest ravine at the very same moment. Because what do you mean you volunteered to join in the most dangerous mission both Wuling and the YSTF has ever come upon?
Her body wanted to grab you and drag you back to Wuling just so you could be safe and away from the dangers of the Exclusion Zone.
But Arcane knows you. The moment you decide on something, you will see it through, for better or for worst. Just like her.
Once the 2nd outpost has been secured, you now stand before the decrepit Tianjian Hall. Memories of your hard earned lessons, teachings of the old masters and... The days you've spent with Arcane come flooding back with a wave of bitter nostalgia.
You always figured you'd be back here, one way or the other, but still, it's a lot to take in. Even in its desolate state, you still hold fond memories of this place. Thankfully, there's a lot of time considering the other Tianshis are setting up the needed equipment and you've already helped out as much as you can so you can take this time to walk down the broken path of memory lane.
As you stepped through the cracked entrance, you immediately knew your way in as you knew this place like the back of your hand. And before you knew it, your feet dragged you to the old tree. The tree no longer has its lush branches and vibrant leaves, all that is left is the bare wood and hollow stature.
Many people used to sit by the tree, either for seeking advice or just having a simple meal after training. This used to be the place you and Li Zhiyan used to hang out in.
Your hands slowly traced the dusty stone benches that enclosed the dead tree, letting it accumulate on your fingertips as you slowly encircled it. Your mind wanders back to a memory of you and Li Zhiyan bickering over something at this very tree, you couldn't quite recall what it was precisely but you couldn't forget the look of her face when she realized she was wrong.
Then, your thoughts were interrupted when you heard a voice call your name. "Reader."
Turning around, you saw Arcane standing behind you with the same stern expression she has always worn. You don't see the reason why Arcane would approach you in the first place unless she and her team need some assistance on something.
"Do you need anything, Operator Arcane?" You spoke in a professional tone. Arcane's eye twitched when she heard that. She didn't expect you to be so formal with her.
Arcane stood motionless all the while her mind was racing on what to do next. Contemplating on what she could say, what she should ask? Gods, why did she let Chen drag her into this? She's going to pluck both of her horns out once she comes back.
"It's been a while. How have you been?" That's the best Arcane could muster before she implodes in the next 5 seconds.
"I've been.. doing fine." You muttered. The atmosphere was abysmal and everything was awkward as hell.
"That's great to hear.. and congratulations on your recent study being a success." Arcane replied, and this caught your attention.
"You know about that?"
"I've seen reports, yes. I've been keeping up with your advances on xiranite, it's quite impressive." Arcane commended, she is guilty to admit that she has been reading every article and watching every news regarding about you though she never really worked up the courage to write a letter or shoot you a toast to congratulate you.
Well, she didn't think you'd change your number so she's been ringing up a dead number for quite some time before realising that.
"I just hope that you cooped up in a lab didn't dull your senses of the blade." Arcane added with a cough. You softly scoffed.
"Want to test that theory?" You challenged as you crossed your arms.
"I am above engaging a duel to a civilian."
"Boring. You do remember I'm up to par with you and Chen, right?" You boldly claimed, you were near the top of the class but Arcane and Chen are simply aces in their combat prowess compared to everyone else.
"That was years ago. Me and Chen had years to grow into better fighters given our occupations. I'm not sure the same could be said to you." Arcane rebukes, she does have a point but what does she know about being a Tianshi? Of course, combat isn't the first priority of a Tianshi unlike a Yinglung but you were trained under the same roof with Arcane after all.
"Come then, let's see if you're right or are you too scared I'll kick your ass?" The feathers atop Arcane's head lightly fluttered, a sigh escaped her lips as she walked over to the array of fallen swords that were stuck in the ground. She plucked two somewhat usable blades and tossed one at you which you almost didn't catch.
The two of you stepped into a mostly open area and stood before each other with 8 feet of space. You wielded the rusted blade with comfort, lightly spinning it with your wrist as you got into a defensive stance, your eyes glued to Arcane, waiting for her first move.
Then, Arcane lunged forward with immense speed, swinging her sword towards you but you quickly blocked it. You evaded the follow up as you swerved to the side. Her swings were hard and heavy, intending to break through the barrier you place but you were quick on your feet.
Once Arcane let herself open, even for just a millisecond, that was your cue to strike back. Landing heavy hits after another, both blades clashed and drew sparks as both bodies danced in the battlefield until you slid your blade at an angle and lifted the sword out of Arcane's hand, causing it to clatter off on the side.
"How's that for a civilian?" It was a tough fight though you have a sneaking suspicion that she went easy on you.
Sighing, Arcane patted herself off as she stood straight, "You've kept yourself sharp. Well done." She said, sounding more like an instructor.
"You sound just like Instructor Zhu." You softly giggled, Arcane's feathers fluttered again though she didn't say anything.
Once the adrenaline has died down and both of you are calm, you look at Arcane right in the eyes. You know there's something she wants to say but her tongue is held back somehow, you don't understand why.
"I'm guessing the impromptu training isn't the reason why you're really here, is it?"
Arcane pursed her lips, clenching her fists tightly. "I want to tell you something but not right now. Especially with what's at stake." Her voice became lower, you wouldn't have caught it if it wasn't for the place being so silent.
"Li, once this is over.. I want us to talk, okay?"
"Okay." And so she promised.
You sat at the edge of the massive ravine, the repaired xiranite bridge was on the side with other Tianshis and scouts crossing it as they made their work in bringing back their home, piece by piece.
Though, you yourself felt like an unsolved jigsaw that's been neglected for god knows how long.
Your ears twitched at the sound of slow footsteps crunching the gravel and dead leaves behind you. You knew who it was just by the scent carried by the wind.
"It's been so long, Li." You glanced over your shoulder, watching Arcane get closer and sit down beside you with a noticeable space between you, though you ignored it. "10 years has led up to this, we're finally home."
Arcane hummed, her eyes eventually falling down to the depths of the ravine. The fog didn't reveal what's truly at the bottom.
"And you can finally rest. I've heard from the other scouts and Chen that you've been working yourself to the bone." You saw Arcane's head feathers flatten when she heard that, "No wonder you look like a skeleton!" You playfully poked her side, causing her to jolt and quickly swat your hand away.
"What are you, an auntie?" Arcane scoffed, "I'm fine, besides, I've already been granted leave and would be staying at Endfield for a while to recover." You were relieved to hear that but the longer this conversation goes on, the more you feel your own heart starting to rip itself apart.
And Arcane noticed.
"But discussing my well being isn't the reason why you called me here, is it?"
Your shoulders dropped as you let out a sigh, "Partially but, I just want you one question."
Arcane mentally prepared herself for what you're about to say, wanting to face it head on with the words she wants to say for so long as she strung them together while she was walking over to you. She's ready.
"Was what we had just a fling?"
"What?" Arcane was confounded.
"Ever since we graduated, you barely called or even replied to any of my messages. I know being the captain of the Yinglungs is a daunting thing but Li... It has been years... You were never transparent with me, always going off on your own without even talking to Chen, to me! What do you think that makes me feel huh? I've spent countless nights just wondering if you truly loved me and I... I-"
Arcane can feel her whole world fall apart as she watches tears well up at the edges of your eyes, the pain in your voice twists her heart. Is this what you've been feeling, for all this time?
"I don't know what to do with these feelings anymore, Li! It hurts! It hurts so much!" As tears began to stream down your face, you struggled to wipe them off but it was futile as more continued to pour down.
"I'm sorry. I truly am sorry for what I've done to you. It's all my fault for causing you so much pain." Li Zhiyan strained her voice as she tries her best not to burst into tears as well, gripping the ends of the broken earth they sit on causing it crumble under her pressure.
"I've gotten every letter from you, the reason why I didn't send one back is because I was afraid. I didn't want to come barging into your life again when you're doing so well without me in it, you got yourself a good life and I'm just wasting away in the battlefield like a walking corpse. I don't want that for you, you don't need me."
Li Zhiyan doesn't want you to be with someone who views her life so lowly and yet, her heart doesn't want you to be with anyone else but her. Such conflicting desires entices more confusion within her as she doesn't understand what she truly wants.
"Li Zhiyan," she was pulled out of her thoughts by you calling her name. You looked at her right in the eyes despite the watery vision and asked; "Do you remember what I said to you back then?"
"'If two hearts remain true, what does it matter if they're not together everyday?' "
Li Zhiyan forgot about it until now, "That old proverb you heard from an old instructor..." Back then, she didn't take the time to really let those words sink in but now, it holds its meaning right before her eyes.
"I still love you, Li Zhiyan. Even if I'm stuck on the Ætherside, I'll still call out to you." Your words held a promise as you rested your hand onto one of Li Zhiyan's, the space between you grows thinner.
"Please don't say that.." Li Zhiyan muttered, "I still love you too, I want this to work again but- are you certain you still want me?" She slipped her hand from you and grabbed yours instead firmly, holding onto you so dearly.
"From Talos II and back. But please, don't shut me out again, if anything is bothering you, I'm always here." As the remaining space between the two of you diminished, you rested your head onto her shoulder with your fingers slipping in between hers.
"I promise." Then, you felt a hand cup your chin, tilting your head up and before you could register what was happening, you felt a pair of soft lips against yours. You instantly melted and reciprocated the kiss, all the sweetness and pent up desires have finally surfaced, it makes you fall for her all over again.
The queen grants the two of the most outstanding detectives of Silvernia for their work of easily cracking a case with just a glance. Perhaps even outdoing the most seasoned commissioner out there.
Albeit, the prize only applies to the one who volunteered to go up the stage.
You watched Munin kneel before the queen, your mother, granting the special award to her. A small smile forming on your face though you couldn't really show the sheer excitement you're actually feeling in front of a thousand spectators.
After the applause of the detective receiving a reactor that now sits just behind Munin's shoulder, letting off a dormant glow. The music rises in volume and more people flooded into the aisle to continue their celebration of this wondrous day.
Although, you have other plans.
After excusing yourself to the queen, you trotted down the steps and began looking for Munin. Excusing yourself and brushing past the rich folks who try to get your attention and have a chat that you have no interest in.
Until you noticed two identical black top hats standing beside each other, having their own world in a corner, disconnected to the rest of the airship.
"Are you really working on a lovely day like this?" You waltzed over to the siblings who swiftly turned around to look at you. Hugin looked about ready to leave when he saw you, while his eldest sister was a little surprised.
"I shall leave you be." Hugin spoke softly, he walked past you and his sister but not before tipping his hat at you. "Princess." Then, headed elsewhere, probably somewhere far from the two of you.
"It's nothing important. Just wanted to confirm this airship is safe after all." Munin replied, fixing her hat. You crossed your arms with your brow raising.
"Come on, with all the guards stationed all over the place, it's practically impregnable." You countered, though Munin shook her head.
"Can't be too sure."
"Munin..." You groaned.
Unable to stand your dissatisfaction, Munin pushes the doubts at the back of her mind for now and relents to you. "Alright alright, I concede. What is it that the princess desires?" She asks with a petite smile tugging at the edge of her lips.
Smiling gleefully as you got your way once more, you held out your hand to her. "I want us to have a dance."
"Then, it shall be done, my lady." Munin accepts your hand, bowing before you as she places a kiss onto your knuckle. You feel your face grow hotter by the gesture though you didn't pull your hand away, just averted your eyes from Munin to poorly hide your embarrassment.
"Oh stop it."
Munin's smile grows evermore, she gently leads both of you out into the main floor. As the band switches from a soothing melody or a more energetic one, Munin takes control of the dance with her hand holding your hand and the other rests on your waist.
Eyes interlocked with the rest of the world fading out as the only thing before you was Munin, and the only thing in her mind was you. Your bodies sway with the rhythm with such precision and elegance, causing some of the patrons to stop and stare. Though, it didn't matter.
Once the tempo has returned to a slow pace, so do the two of you. You rested your head onto Munin's shoulder, faintly hearing her stable heartbeat with her scent filling your nose. "After this celebration, what will you do now?" You whispered under your breath.
"We'll be returning to the station, getting the remaining cases sorted and shut." Munin replied almost instantly, you bit the inside of your mouth as you were half expecting that answer but it still disappointed you.
But then, you felt a hand cup your chin and tilted your head enough to look at Munin right in the eyes. "Unless, the princess isn't saying what she wants?" A smirk curled on her lips as she watches your face turn even more redder.
"It's scary how you can read one's thoughts at a glance."
"It's not mind reading, love. I can see it on your face." Munin booped your nose, "And luckily for you, Hugin has an errand to run with Loren, so it'll just be you and me at the station." You felt a shiver down your spine when her voice lowered an octave, whispering right into your ear that almost made your knees give out.
"Question is, will your dear mother permit you to leave at such late hours?"
"I'll just tell her that I'm paying the detective a visit. Simple." You said as a matter of fact. Munin playfully rolled her eyes with a soft chuckle.
"Whatever you say, love." She muses. You raised your brow at her again.
"I feel like you're teasing me." You grumbled, pouting.
"Noo. Pshh-" Munin lets out a laugh as you punched her shoulder but you couldn't help but smile as well as the two of you continued to dance.
do you mean his sister, Munin? I can do that, just not with any male characters of any of the three games I listed. This blog is strictly WLW after all.
CW: remi d!ck, collar and leash, biting, might be OOC
Remielle likes wearing accessories, whether it's a simple ring or a shining earring that makes her even more lavish. But one accessory stands out from the rest of the bedazzled jewelry.
A simple thin pink collar.
She would wear it habitually and you would always have a leash connected to said collar.
You walk side by side around the streets of Lumina Square, shopping for new clothes and getting some teamilk all the while everyone could see you having a leash on one of the first Void Hunters of all people. Remielle doesn't feel an ounce of shame either, she likes parading around leashed as it immediately tells everyone who she belongs to.
Of course, you become more daring with Remielle on a leash. You would tug her to a secluded alleyway and kneel down to give her a quick head as you were feeling insatiable after you saw Remielle fit a quite revealing attire back at the mall.
Or you would intentionally touch her most sensitive parts. Her wings. Even just caressing them or giving them a gentle tug is enough to make her wings tremble and flutter, you revel at the sight of those rosy cheeks when she snaps you a glare.
But if you push her buttons too far, Remielle would only give you a disarming smile. And you know well of what it meant.
The sounds of the pained groans of the bed as it rocks violently echoed throughout the house. Your moans were louder, drowning out everything but.
You were pressed onto the bed, stomach down, your head held down by a heavy hand while another interlocked with your hand. Your second hand held the leash as if it were your lifeline, tugging profusely but your commands were for nought.
Your moans were interlaced with your sobs and begs for Remielle to slow down, your hand pathetically tugged on the leash to signal her but Remielle ignored it all.
"My my, where's that brazen attitude of yours earlier, huh?" Remielle sneered, you could feel her eyes boring into the back of your head. You see the shadow of her wings, seeing it flutter and expand, completely casting a shadow over you.
"I let you have a leash on me because you asked nicely but you forget who's truly in charge here." Remielle drew down to your neck and bit down, you yelped with your hips arching, pushing her cock deeper inside you. You hear her groan, feeling your neck be littered with bite marks that spread down to your shoulder.
A pool of drool formed beneath your face, your head getting lost in the pleasure as your grip on the leash completely loosened. You really thought the little game you both played had no limits, but Remielle isn't a fair player.
It was long when Remielle was at the very edge. Shoving her cock deep inside, shooting waves of hot cum right into your womb as you screamed her name. She held you in place, making sure you take everything she has with some slowly oozing out and dripping into the sheets.
Slowly, Remielle pulled out with a groan, her cock coated with your mixed juices as it still stood rock hard and twitching for more. You slowly turned over, whimpering as you pressed your hand onto where Remielle bit you.
"You alright, love?" Remielle asked, dropping the act for a moment to make sure you're alright.
"Remie.. you bit too hard..." You muttered. It didn't really hurt that much but the area felt numb and Remielle certainly put more force into it than before.
"Sorry sorry. Hmm, how about we test out this thing you bought?" You watched Remielle slip off the bed and grabbed something from within one of the bedside cabinets and took out a dog muzzle.
She easily slipped it on, humming in delight that it fits her snuggly. Then, she crawled back onto the bed and looked over at you with a smirk. "Now this time, I won't be able to bite you at all." She muses.
Yidhari has the most mesmerising eyes and she would always catch you staring at them. They have such a hypnotic pull that you can't explain, like a siren lulling lonesome sailors to their salty demise but you are more than willing to dive deep into the cold depths just so you can be in her arms.
"What's on your mind?" You snapped back to reality when you heard her velvety voice beside you. Blinking multiple times, your vision registers Yidhari lying on her stomach with her tentacles leisurely formed waves behind her, resting her head onto her folded arms with the bedsheets covering both of your bare bodies.
The sun has already risen and your alarm clocks have already rang but neither of you had any plans of getting up.
"Nothing I just.. I really like your eyes, is all."
"Not much for subtlety, huh?" Yidhari softly giggles, you groaned at her, feeling your cheeks warming up.
"It's true though! They're like the rarest and most beautiful jewels New Eridu has ever seen!" You boldly exaggerated or was it really? You wholeheartedly believe that your partner, your proxy, your beloved wife is the most beautiful woman and you're never going to stop believing that fact.
Yidhari's tentacles stopped their motions behind her as if her mind was processing what you just said. Using one of her tentacles to hide her face, she turned her gaze away.
"You're too much." She muttered lowly.
"I was thinking, if we ever decide to have a kid, I want them to have your eyes." You admitted the truth as to why you've been staring at her ever since you woke up. You've been together for a long time, even sealed the deal, though having a kid hasn't crossed your minds. Until now.
"Not just that, I want them to have your mind, your heart, your- everything!"
Yidhari still has her tentacle covering her face so you couldn't tell if she's mad at you from the silence alone or what.
"I guess I was a little too forward with that. Forget I said anything." You tried to retract the words you said but suddenly, you were pinned further down onto the bed with two tentacles holding you down by the wrists. Yidhari climbed on top of you, as she removed the tentacles from her face, her cheeks were bright red similar akin to a tomato.
"Then, why don't we try for one?" Yidhari suggested with a small smile creeping up to her face. Despite her worries and doubts, she does want to have a little one running around the house, but she wants them to be more like you than her.
Despite everything that has happened to her, from the lost her parents to her condition, she still has love in her heart that is unmatched. With 4 tentacles at her disposal, she makes sure you feel that love well and thoroughly.
In the mornings, Yidhari would make it difficult for you to even move a muscle in the bed as she has all of her limbs attached to you while she sleeps soundly beside you. Not that you mind, it's just that, you need to clock in to work in the next 30 minutes or else you'll never hear the end of it from your boss.
If you're a hollow raider, Yidhari would step up to be your personal proxy. With her combat prowess and knowledge of the hollows, she accompanies you at every commission just to make sure that you get back safe and you don't get hurt. You would often catch one of her tentacles wrapped around your leg or waist just so she doesn't lose track of you while she's looking for a fissure.
If it's a slow day, Yidhari would use this time to write some spooky stories to post on the Spook Shack forum. As she's typing away on her laptop, her first two tentacles would be holding a hot cup of coffee and some snacks, the third one helped her type even quicker while the fourth one would wander up to your shirt and give your breast a squeeze.
It was embarrassing the first time but you've grown used to it, you figured it was her way of relieving some stress or it helps her think. You don't know, she doesn't elaborate when you ask, it only results in you being dragged into the bedroom.
Nevertheless, Yidhari has her oddities but you still love her as much as she loves you to the ends of the hollowed moon.
She would take commission after commission, case after case just to keep herself busy just so that she doesn't have to think about that day. Because if she ever stops moving, it would all come flooding back to her like a storm.
Even if she's at the bar, she's not seen tending to her drink as her mind is simply elsewhere. With the recent passing of her brother still fresh and lingering, the only thing in her mind to find the one responsible for the attack and his death, even if its the last thing she'll do.
She would focus on what's in front of her so much so that she forgets what's beside her.
Even after she returned to Silvernia to continue the case of finding the murderers of her brother, there's still one more thing she needs to amend. After all, being gone for 3 years is enough to burn valuable bridges. Firtho was almost one of them.
And she can't afford to lose you too.
In the deep after hours, you would hear a knock on the door. It was strange getting a visitor this late at night, you armed yourself just in case whoever's at the door is a thief or worse, a gangster. You checked through the peephole and much to your surprise and dismay, it was a familiar dark purple top hat.
"What do you want, detective?" You peeped through the small crack you made through the door, catching a glimpse of those striking blue eyes and red irises that seemed to glow under the moonlight.
"I simply want to talk."
"At this hour? I'd rather do that in the morning, good night." Just as you were about to close the door, thinking that Muni had lost her mind to think that you'd be up for a chat at this kind of time but you were stopped when a hand slipped through the gap, holding the door.
"No! Please.. I just need to see you." You heard desperation in the detective's voice. You bit the insides of your mouth, weighing the options but your body decided before you and pulled the door wide open, stepping side to let Munin inside.
"How you've been?" Munin asked, filling in the silence.
"Why are you really here, Munin?" There's no need to beat around the bush, after all, the Master Detective likes things that go by quickly.
Munin took off her hat, pressing it against her chest as she looked at you right in the eyes with the most sincere look.
"I want to apologise for my sudden disappearance. I was selfish for leaving you like that and I want to make this work again. Make us work again."
"Will you permit me?" Munin spoke with the most candor as she laid her heart bare for you to see, unafraid of it being getting hurt when she has done a far worse pain to you for the past 3 years of waiting.
The silence in the air was palpable, you had your head hung low, remained motionless in your spot that Munin almost became worried as she reached out her hand to you till you raised your head, causing her to falter.
"You have no idea how many sleepless nights I've spent just wondering where you could've gone. Just praying that you're safe out there..." Eyes turning glossy, lips quivering at every spoken word, Muni watched as you quaked under the immense pressure of emotions you have pent up for so long that has now come flooding out.
Without thinking, Munin rushed over to you and wrapped you into a tight embrace. You feebly try to push her away though it was no use.
"You didn't even bother to leave me a note goddamn it!" You punched her, kicked her and screamed but Munin stood her ground as she held you near. The pain was ignorable.
"I hate you I hate you I hate you so damn much..." Your tears stained her coat, your lunches wrinkled her attire but Munin didn't mind it one bit as she let you, rightfully, take your frustrations out on her.
"I'm right here now and I'll never leave you ever again." Munin promised, you shook your head.
"Liar."
Then, you grabbed Munin's collar and pulled her into a rough kiss. The detective instantly melted, dropping her hat as she wrapped her arms around you and deepened the kiss, hungrily reciprocating.
Your hands seemed to have gained a mind of their own as it started to peel every piece of clothing from Munin, discarding it to the ground. You pulled her hair tie off, letting her long flowy hair free.
Munin guided both of your bodies to the nearest wall whilst your lips were still interlocked, pinning you against the wall and her body with a groan.
Once both of your lungs started to scream for air, Munin pulled away but quickly dove down to your neck, leaving reddened marks while her own hands popped the buttons of your top and grasped one of your breasts, kneading it tenderly.
You writhe under her, gasping and whimpering. You were a muse to the ears, Munin simply couldn't help herself anymore. Especially with the offensive tightness growing evermore at each passing second.
With your top bare and pants lowered to the knees, Munin bit her lip. Any sense of rationale is out of the window as you're the only thing clear in her muddled mind.
After unbuckling her belt, letting down her pants just enough to let loose of her length, it twitched from the cold air and accumulated arousal as it drooled from the tip. She didn't waste any time in sliding it in, you didn't put up much resistance as if you still remember how it felt.
You moaned, loud enough for it to reverberate through the living room. You gripped Munin tightly as you rested your head onto her shoulder, "Munin..." You rasp her name, voice so small and pitiful that Munin started moving in turn.
Munin missed this. The feeling of your walls tightly wrapped around her, squeezing so much that she could hardly move but it feels so good. She tightened her grip on you, letting her body speak what she truly wants as she picked up her pace, slamming her hips into you.
You cried out her name, new lines of tears rolled down your cheeks as you wrapped your arms around Munin, killing the remaining space between you. Your nails dug onto her bare back, leaving lines of red. Munin groaned from the sting but it did nothing other than rile her up even more.
You were losing your senses with the only thing you know is the pleasure below, you could feel yourself getting closer to the edge. The same could be said to Munin by how desperate and rough her thrusts are becoming.
"I.. I need to pull out..." Munin said breathlessly, but you rapidly shook your head and locked your legs around her waist, trapping her.
Alarm bells were ringing in Munin's head when she felt it but another part of her mind is wanting this, wanting it badly.
"Munin!!"
Without much of a choice, Munin slammed her hips into you the final time and shoots her entire load right into your womb, filling your pussy to the brim.
You were completely lost in euphoria, still coming down from your high when Munin carefully pulled herself out, letting some of your mixed juices flow out of you and drip to the carpeted floor.
Your eyes were getting heavy, you were supposed to be asleep at this hour but now you've been fucked by your long lost partner after 3 years of disappearing. But Munin isn't going to let you sleep, after all, she promised she'll make up for lost time.
Munin cupped your cheeks, making you look at her right in the eyes. Her red pupils were glowing bright, "Oh, don't pass out on me, vixen. I'm nowhere near done with you."
A reliable leader of the Endfield Industries, a combat extraordinaire of the Endfield Crisis Team and a lover no one in Talos II or Terra would ever compare.
Even with the countless cycles of reawakening, her heart still beats when she catches a first glimpse of you once she stepped out of that rock. Her eyes fixated on you while Perlica's voice faded as she could only focus on you.
Wondering what's this sense of familiarity that she can't shake, a feeling that wouldn't subside no matter how far she was from Dijang.
And it only becomes worse when you accompany her on missions. The Endministrator would find herself bumbling with her words, acting a fool instead of an unwavering leader but that isn't really a bad thing, is it?
After all, you find it quite endearing and play along with her. Chen and Perlica would just watch you two have a semblance of a flirt on the side.
You hold yourself back far more than the Endmin knows, withholding necessary information of everything that happened and what will happen just so you and her could have a peaceful moment before everything falls apart once more.
A pocket of serenity amidst the ocean of Æther.
Initially, you were afraid that the Endmin would forget about you, especially in her later reawakenings as she bore no memory of everything. But as proven time and time again, the only thing that remained consistent was her knowing that you are hers and she is yours.
She'd take your hand over and over again at each reawakening, bow before you and kiss your hand as she looks at you with reverence in her eyes just like the day you two first met.
Remielle would most definitely be the type to show off her marks, especially the ones that you made on her back after your night of fun. She would make the most of her time fainting her back, making sure everyone catches a glimpse of how red her back was thanks to you.
"Oh this? It doesn't hurt, it's just that my cat got a little rough last night." Remielle would say if asked what happened, smirking as she knows you're dying on the side when you hear that.
If there's more marks other than her back, best believe that she will brandish them like some trophies.
You left a hickey on her neck? She's waving her hair back just so it could be seen better. You accidentally bit her collarbone too hard last night? Her dress seems to be a little lower than usual today.
It's easy to say that Miss Show Off is quite proud, even if it's the expense of her partner's embarrassment.
When creating the first bangboo, there were four people present in its creation.
Of course, the pioneer of the project, Lady Sunbringer. Remielle, the designer of the little helper. Joyous, who came at the latter end of the project and volunteered to put the first bangboo to a test run. And there was you, who helped Sunbringer in construction and calibrating of the bangboo.
When the little construct first awoke, it greeted the world with such joy. Happily proclaiming that Sunbringer was it's mother before jumping into her arms, it took Sunbringer aback as she didn't anticipate the bangboo would have such a lively personality.
She looked at you as if you're the one at fault, well, you were. Half of it. Since Remielle recommended the bangboo doesn't need to be a cold companion when it's to be mass produced to aid humanity.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Aren't you happy that it woke up?" you crossed your arms, Sunbringer huffed as she shook her head.
"I am. Just wondering why my lab partner didn't inform me of the changes she made of our project." She raised a brow at you while the bangboo sat on her arm, glancing at her then at you as if it's connecting the dots in its mechanical head.
You held up your hands up in surrender, "Alright alright, I did take some advice from Remielle but it's so much better this way, isn't it? It's cute too." you defended your decision, though Sunbringer doesn't seem to be angry with this change. Well, it's rather difficult to tell from her unchanging stone faced expression but you've grown used to it.
"En-nah, nah! (Mama!)" then, the bangboo leaped off from Sunbringer and onto you instead, you caught the little guy into your arms and hugged it tightly as it nuzzled onto you.
As Sunbringer watched her lab partner and their bangboo play, something stirrs inside that she doesn't understand but it wasn't a bad feeling.
Remielle's wings would flutter and tremble while you're sucking her. Her moans and gasps would be tempered, biting her lip as she tries not to make too much of a noise but you make it so damn hard for her.
"My love.. slow down, I'm not going anywhere." She muttered, grabbing a fistful of your hair though you didn't relent. You pushed yourself deeper till your nose was hitting her crotch, Remielle moaned so beautifully in return with her head rolling back and her wings spreading full. Some feathers fell on the side of the bed.
"Fuck.. so good.. so good to me..!" A line of drool rolled down the side of her lips, her pink eyes glowing with lust as she watched you take her whole length down your throat, lavishing at the sensation of your wet tongue wrapping around her.
You watched her become a mess before you, the once refined and well put together woman is now reduced to a trembling mess.
No matter how hard she tries to suppress her moans, Remielle's voice cracks and a lewd moans always escapes with her climax getting close just by how her wings were flapping crazy.
Without warning, Remielle shoots her load right down your throat, forcing you to swallow everything. You did so with gusto, downing your lover's massive load as if it'll be the last thing you'll drink until there's nothing left.
After pulling away, you looked to meet Remielle's eyes, completely lost in pleasure. "You alright Remi?" You asked, lightly chuckling. Then, she roughly cupped your cheeks and pulled you up to be at her eye level.
"You ask me that after you jumped me the moment the door closed? Never expected you to become so bold, my partner in crime." Remielle bites her lip.
Just by the look of her dick is standing up and twitching again, it's going to be a long night.
What if the Original Sunbringer found a way to preserve the lives of those she treasured? Namely, you.
But it wasn't perfect.
You lost every piece of memory that you had with Sunbringer and everything that you had worked on with her and the old Void Hunters to save humanity. After all, you died on the battlefield doing just that. However, Sunbringer was willing to accept it despite her comrades' begs to let you rest.
No matter, it was up to Sunbringer to find a way to bring you back to her, no matter how long it takes. She has time, unlike many.
And she did.
You've been living for god knows how long, meeting new people and creating new memories in the city in the skies. Sunbringer was happy with you in the city that she made away from the rest of humanity, however, she didn't tell you of her plan before she split herself into three. Leaving you with a family of new three Sunbringers who carry the love the original had for you thus value you so dearly.
Lindverne and Dracaene would coddle you like a teddy bear, their energy would be boundless when they're with you that you'd be easily drained within a day.
Sigrid and Velina would be more concerned about you passing out from the endless itinerary that the two prepared just for the three of you to do.
But for Eldreda, she has a similar temperament to her creator but is more distant. She would keep to herself, especially with you around and barely utter a word.
However, in rare instances, she would drape her heavy coat on you if you were feeling cold or would come into your sleeping quarters and just watch you sleep. You don't know why she's doing this but you didn't bring this up to her, afraid that she might stop.
And ever since the news of an attempted assassination of Eldreda became widespread across Roscaelifer, you've been receiving a feather a day by your window and you're not certain who's been leaving them.
Remielle would always have her wing wrapped around you whether she's consciously doing it or not. She feels a great sense of security whenever you're within wings reach and can relax knowing that she can swiftly swoop in and take you away if things get messy.
As if she's trying to make up for something.
Remielle would use her fallen feathers to decorate you. From necklaces made of her feathers to straight up making a crown of it just for you. It's her way of telling you that she's yours as much as you're hers. And it's a way for others to know that you're taken.
However, even if she bears the title of Void Hunter, Remielle is still human.
There would be times that Remielle would entrap you with her massive wings, putting you in a cocoon as her arms wrapped around you from behind, her head resting on your shoulder. Her breathing turning shallow, savoring this quiet moment between the two of you.
She doesn't explain why but you never pressed and only gave the comfort that she needed in these vulnerable days. Peppering the side of her face with kisses as you pat her head, earning a soft hum from the angel.
"Sorry.. I shouldn't be trapping you like this." She lowly muttered, her voice was a far cry from her playful demeanor.
"It's nothing. We can stay like this however long you like. It's quite comfortable." You reassured. Remielle chuckled, she leaned back against the head of the bed, still keeping you in her arms and her wings shielding you from the world.
"You're too good for me." Remielle thought.
Yet she's deathly afraid of letting you go, you're her only salvation in this new world that sprung from the one that she once knew. Fearing that if she did, there's nothing in New Eridu nor Roscaelifer would be enough to anchor her anymore.
