remember reading up on ZZZ lore and seeing as how Sunbringer basically destroyed The Hive and brought back the literal sun and made Bangboo, the contrast between the two achievements is so fucking funny that I decided Robert should basically have his equivalent of those two hero achievements in that universe imagine the confession that he's not only Mecha-Man, but he basically wiped out a threat to humanity and restored the sky with the help of his squad. then he holds up one of the droids he made like "also I made this little guy"

and the entire Z-Team goes insane like "LITTLE GUY"

NANGONG HAS TO BE CONNECTED TO ROSCAELIFER IN SOME WAY

She shows up one patch before Remielle shows up

Her working name was "Suriel" which is damn close to "Ramiel"

She has Pink in her Hair, Remielle has pink hair.

Remielle has wings, nangong has prosthetic wings on a scar on her back.

Sunbringer (One of them) has a Scar on her back, in the practically the EXACT same place as Nangong.

Nangong's scar seems violent and dark, and is in an "x" shape, but SB's scar is in a "+" shape, and rather clean and not too dark compared to her skin

We know from Magus and Orphie that a Mind can be uploaded to a cloned Body, but doing so may require "killing" the mind of the clone, should it form one.

Remielle is literally an Angel, and Nangong wears the visage of one, there are Three Sunbringers, and Sunbringer is a grand Creator, a Guardian of the World (A Void Hunter) and has a kingdom above the clouds.

So I posit this:

Remielle Dan and Sunbringer have access to cloning tech. The make Replicas, upload their minds, or at least, their memories into them.

There were two Remielle Dan Clones - Ramiel and Suriel.

Ramiel is chosen to recieve the memories/mind of Remielle, and thus either is or believes she is Remielle Dan from a Hundred years ago.

At some point, Suriel was injured by the action of a Sunbringer, at least as far as Remielle Believes, and as such, for vengance of her (Supposedly dead) sister, Ramiel makes an attempted assassination of Sunbringer, leaving the scar.

Suriel survives her injury, winds up in New Eridu, and is adopted by her family, and her name become Nangong Yu.

I hope there's at least hints to this, even if it's never confirmed, because.

Damn. That's a LOT of coincidental, very symmetrical and paralleling compenents between characters.

Nangong, also, has NO BACKSTORY. None. Less than Lucy, less than Corin, less than Anton and Ben. No Agent Story, not much growth or learning of her character in her related event, all we know comes from Sunna and Aria, and even then it's more about Sunna and Aria than Nangong.

Most other injuries either make sense for the character, or have some kind of history, or is at LEAST commented on by someone!

Ben works in a construction site, Lycaon lost his legs in an incident involving Hugo, Corin was sick as a child and had surgeries, Caesar lost her arm in the fall of the Calydons as a child, Manato takes hits for people, and has had a rough life, even Koleda's eye is directly mentioned in her Agent Archive thing!

Nangong has NOTHING! Nothing! Less than all the A-Ranks!

And before anyone says "Well She looks nothing like Remielle aside from the hair" First of all, Fair, secondly, we know that the Cloning process, at least the one that the NEDF used, was imperfect, because why else would all of Silver Squad have had such different personalities and attributes, at least from what's implied by Twiggy's vision of S11 and Anby before she dies - hell, even Twiggy's own replicas all seemed fairly differenet from each other, enough to not be seen as the same people if you could talk to them!

It's just- there's NO Explanation, Not talking about it, nothing, like, Ben's scar glows but that's because he's a release agent and doesn't have anything else to exemplify, but Nangong's scar Glows.

It's notable, it should be noticed and should be taken into account, but it doesn't tell us much of a story. She got injured, clearly, but that's all we know. No story, no implications, just. There. Nothing to assume from it.

but, also, NANGONG IS, OFFICIALLY AND CANONICALLY A THIREN.

THE HALO IS A PART OF HER BIOLOGY.

HER WINGS ARE "REAL" AND I ASSUME THAT MEANS PROSTHETICS OF ACTUAL WINGS.

Belle & Wise = Sunbringer & Joyous?

are they clones of the two? and were joyous and sunbringer actually siblings?

so there's this poster hidden behind a wall in the HIA. it says "pathfinder, pioneer, pilot". representing the role of an investigator/proxy. of a trailblazer, like Joyous. like Phaethon. it looks like the perfect in-between of belle and wise, imo. perhaps bc it was made in Joyous's image, but the HIA is open to all genders, so they made a more ambiguous design. (and bc, as the player, you can see Either proxy in it.)

the circles around it intrigue me. they could be like a sun and a moon, sun and a hollow, or even represent the moon in zzz, which is black of the left side and white on the right.

now, i do think that wise could legitimately be a clone or descendant of Joyous. for numerous seasons, and obv they just look alike.

so what about belle? is she another clone of joyous, but female? or perhaps her and wise are both just regular siblings descended from him? However. belle does have similarities to lady Sunbringer, and it's possible that Joyous was an older brother of someone... possibly Sunbringer herself.

see, he's described as "the one who went through the divine maze", the first person to successfully navigate out of a hollow. specifically Papago Hollow, with the help of the first bangboo prototype, made by Sunbringer. (this is also why they're called "carrots", btw. bc bangboo are inspired by rabbits, and what do rabbits eat?)

so, anyways. "Papago" is an outdated name given by the spanish to the Tohono O'odham people. in their mythology (according to yk basic googling), the creator god is I'itoi, and this name means "Elder Brother". he is most commonly known as the "Man in the Maze".

and keep in mind that belle's hair color is also originally the same as wise's, due to her eyebrows. (they don't match her blue hair.) here's a mod showing her w/silver hair, compared to Sunbringer:

then we have this. the red line is Belle, and the blue is Wise. belle mentioning the sun rising from the hollow, in stark contrast to wise... this could be significant. see, lady Sunbringer is called that because she "defeated the hivelord hollow in the sky", essentially bringing the sun back to Eridu.

then there's this cutscene from the prologue. wise and belle are shown differently here, with what looks like the HIA symbol behind wise's head, with belle off to the side as the other sibling. the cutscene is the same regardless of who you choose, btw. only wise is shown like this.

...so maybe they're clones of each of the two, or descendants of joyous, who was actually sunbringer's older brother.

we have no information about belle & wise's family or origins— they mention each other being the only family they have, and a child's drawing in one of their rooms shows just the two of them with a house behind them. no parents, not even carole, who perhaps would've taken them in after that was drawn.

also: the mayor (mayflower family) and void hunters were all connected. this includes helios academy, which was founded by the void hunter Arche. in the present day, the mayor was also a dear friend of carole arna's.

if you were to give humanity a fighting chance at navigating through the hollows, how better to accomplish this than with the progenies of actual void hunters? whether this is due to them happening to be their descendants and being found by carole/the academy, or due to some place cloning the void hunters.

i actually think the cloning could've been done by the white star institute, if the siblings really were just orphans found and taken in by the academy. unless the academy itself made them, and carole decided to raise them.

Saying it now before everyone else comes flocking in one to five updates, I am a Sunbringer prime (/going off the assumption that the main sunbringer is Eldreda) x Remielle shipper and I am coining sunielle as their ship name (eldrenielle?).
