🐓 Types of Magic ✨

🌕 Bloodline Witches who posses bloodline magic were born with their powers. At least one of their parents has magic - either from a magical bloodline or cursed magic. Since their powers have been inherited, they often have family members and a coven to teach them to control and hone their skills. 

🌕 Cursed Cursed witches, like bloodline witches, were born with their powers - but come from a non-magical family. They are usually the seventh born girl in a family. Due to the smaller families of modern times, they are now exceedingly rare. 

These type of witches have a harder time trying to control and hone their magic. They lack the support the bloodline witches have, so learning magic is a challenge. They are seen as a bad omen. 

🌕 Legacy Witches with legacy magic have not been born magical, but have been handed down their powers. Traditionally, when an elderly witch is to die, she is tasked to choose a young girl from their village to pass the magic to. 

Legacy magic is gifted through the pact with minor Devils. These Devils work as familiars and take the form of an animal. Legacy witches are usually focused on a specific kind of magic (for example; Necromancy, Water Magic, Pyrokinesis, etc.) Any type of magic outside their specialty is harder to learn. However, the older the magic is and the more it’s been transferred from generation to generation, the stronger the magic becomes.
