I’ve talked about Hasan’s open misogyny before but no, it’s actually still not talked about enough that arguably the internet’s biggest leftist “influencer” openly dismisses misogyny and hates women. His attitude towards women alone should have gotten him ostracized from leftist spaces—spaces where people are regularly kicked out for using the wrong terminology or not going along with ridiculous, maximalist positions—but this is what happens when men on the left say feminism is, at best, a distraction from class politics, and at worst, the whining of bitch white Karens.

And you know, obviously women and girls in Afghanistan face much more oppression than being banned from going to school, but even if the Taliban’s misogyny ended there, how dare some piece of shit, nepo baby man who sits online all day act like it’s no big deal that women are denied education just because they’re women. Again, this is only tolerated in a political environment that has rejected feminism and welcomed misogyny, and more women in leftist spaces need to wake up to how misogynistic these men are. Being a pick-me and pretending misogyny doesn’t matter will not save you and will not make leftist men like Hasan take your rights any more seriously

I'm going to have to re-enter the job market soon & it's all because the people in charge of the program I work for are completely fucking insane (though tbf the government is also directly responsible for many of the things that make my job grueling & miserable). I would love to do this same kind of job for an organization that doesn't fucking despise its employees, in a country that doesn't fucking despise its citizens, but sadly that is not the situation !

last night's tornado outbreak was fucking insane, I was watching the max velocity livestream for like 5 hrs straight & at a certain point we all had to go to the basement. opal was thrilled to be allowed to come down with us bc the basement is usually off limits & she's obsessed with going wherever she isn't normally allowed. but anyways all of them were within 50 miles of my house & multiple were within 25 miles which was crazy. so many photogenic low precip funnels too, the videos are insane. I just really hope no one died!! there was no EF5 or even EF4 level damage but a lot of EF3 range which can still be deadly.

what's crazy though is that literally almost every big storm chaser got it wrong and went after the western IL supercells rather than the northern IL ones that actually dropped like 7 significant tornadoes. close but no cigar, I know they were hitting themselves
