In case anyone doesn’t believe that AI art is theft…

First image is from artist mtfernandez on Instagram. A lovely, hand drawn piece of Bryce and Hunt.

Second image is from neural_art_v who I’ve spoken out against multiple times. They use midjourney and “photoshop” aka they change lighting and do blurs (hmm wonder why they blurred that 6 knuckled hand…sort of gives it away that it’s AI)

Immediately when I saw the copycat, I knew it was partially modeled off of mtfernandez’s art. There’s no denying the pose, colors, everything is the same. Obviously the original artist doesn’t own that pose but this is literally like one of those spot the difference pictures. Even if the thief isn’t aware, it’s still theft.

What you can do: STOP COMMENTING ON THE THIEF’S PICTURES SAYING HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS AND HOW ITS YOUR FAVORITE FANART. ITS NOT THEIR ART!!!! THEY DID NOT MAKE IT. DO NOT REPOST IT FOR LIKES ON HERE. I’m purely posting a screenshot to bring this to light. Since neural_art_v is mostly making stuff from SJM content, that’s what I’m tagging this.
