Tldr Amnesty International, global human rights organisation, published a report called 'A growing threat: the anti-rights movement in the UK'. In it is detailed, amongst others, a whole bunch of transphobic groups and organisations, including Beira's Place, JK Rowling's trans exclusionary sexual violence support service. JK Rowling threw a shit fit and got Amnesty to take the report down by threatening libel. This was obviously not enough, because you can't appease a fascist, so now she's going to bankroll a bunch of lawsuits anyway through the JK Rowling Women's Fund.*

#hahaha so actually all of my great grandparents were born in the US so the answer is just... Nebraska x8 #but okay on my dad's side my great-great grandparents were... also Cedar County Nebraska but on my mom's side we have Missouri Ohio Illinoi #and ONTARIO CANADA baabbbeeyyyyy #because on that particular family line they moved from the U.S. - Pennsylvania where they'd been since at least the 1780s #and they moved to Canada from the 1820s until the 1879 #which HAD to have a story there but I don't know it #we don't actually get back to Germany until my 4th great grandparents
