some more tpov hcs, this time abt how good i think they are at cooking
(I still don't know which spelling of their names is correct so I'll just use the ones from the translation im reading.)
heres the reasons:
Rine - i think she'd be really good at cooking, im sure there's probably also recipe books in that infinite library of hers. it would be plated beautifully and tastes of restaurant quality.
Alon - his cooking doesn't look perfect like Rine's cooking does, but it would taste damn good. it's not exactly restaurant quality good, but more like warm and cozy homemade meal good that restaurants can't replicate. it's a fun and mostly relaxing hobby for him, so occasionally, he makes time for it just to have a break from all the stressful things that keep happening around him.
Radan - he just has the vibe of someone who would be really good at cooking, especially if you get him a really good recipe book. i feel like he's really great at following the instructions. you can always tell if the food was made by Radan cause it's always plated symmetrically.
Sili (Silly?) - she would be pretty good at cooking, probably had some time to observe and learn how to cook from the time she worked at that inn before reuniting with Deus.
Evan - he's worked as a mercenary and probably has cooked for himself dozens of times before, he's specifically really good at roasting things over a fire.
Selaim Mikardo (tower master guy cause why not) - he seems like the type of guy who is reliable and mature most of the time, i somewhat get silly dad vibes from him (specifically a father figure to Penia). so i feel like he'd be pretty good at cooking.
Kalia Zenonia & Loria Altia - they're both badass independent women, so i imagine they would be able to cook but usually don't cook since they have servants and chefs to do that for them.
Yutia - depends on her emotional state. in normal circumstances, i think she would be pretty good at cooking. however, on the off chance she was already in a bad mood, she'd be more likely to make tiny mishaps or have a few small accidents in the kitchen that only serve to worsen her mood. the moment she loses her temper.... well, let's say that half of the kitchen has suddenly exploded for mysterious reasons... yes... it was definitely a gas leak, a freak accident that no one could have predicted...
Penia - i thought it would be funny. she knows how the ingredients go together to make a good dish and knows a few key methods for cooking, so she should be able to cook! but somehow, things just keep going wrong. she was too embarrassed to try cooking again after the first few attempts ended in a sad looking thing that can barely be called a dish. if you ask her, she would never admit to not being able to cook.
Seollang - the kitchen turned into a mess, with food ingredients somehow smeared all over the counters, walls, and celling. several cooking utensils were bent and broken, and theres a few holes in the walls. it looks more like a fierce battle broke out in the kitchen...
Deus - he may be a good leader and extremely capable master knight, but he absolutely does not know how to use his cooking ingredients. he just throws together random ingredients that he likes in hopes they somehow make a dish. (it doesn't work) aside from that, he somehow accidentally set a salad on fire (twice). oh, and he also keeps accidentally slicing all the cutting boards into several small pieces. (with an ordinary kitchen knife, btw.)

- if you put all 5 of the sins in the kitchen and told them to make a meal for the great moon, you would be delighted to see a dazzling, 5-star full course meal that's plated with absolute perfection and tastes like perfection too. hm? the kitchen? oh... yeah. unfortunately, the kitchen didn't make it...... you'd be lucky if you could find anything that could be salvaged from the wreckage...
- Alon loves any roasted sweet potatoes, but he especially loves how Evan roasts them. it's always perfectly to his taste. on the other hand, Evan loves Alon's cooking and Alon doesn't mind making as many servings as he wants, just for him. ^^
