“I love your cats, but you are not supposed to let them sleep in the laundry basket, specially not when you have so many,” Alice laughed. She went and got Hellboy a beer when he left back to her room to get dressed. It was nice having someone that drank in the house, because her friends always left the drinks at her place, since most of them lived in campus and alcohol was not allowed in the amount they usually bought.

Hellboy was quite observant; Alice noticed. Or maybe it was she who had grown used to always having the same people over, people who were already used to always seeing her with long sleeves.

“House rule, I always wear long sleeves and no one questions it, it’s for your own good,” she hummed with a joking tone. “That’s the only rule- or well, the only one that applies to you. I don’t think No ouija boards and Don’t ask me to summon demons are needed-” she paused, poking her bottom lip out and rubbing her chin in thought, her sleeve sliding down just a bit to reveal a fading bruise on her wrist. “I think I broke my own rule by inviting you over. Does it count as summoning if you were already in this realm?”

“Mmm… Sure, mom.” He smirked. He sat on the couch and it immediately made a creaking sound of protest so he looked between his legs to see if it had any signs of giving up to his weight soon but no, probably just old.. Or maybe it gives up to his weight later. 

“What the heck Alice, I´m gonna break everything here. Your place is tiny.” He complained. “Uh.. Why would I want to ask you to summon demons anyway? I don´t really get along with my ´biological´ family.” He joked bitterly. “Nah, it doesn´t but maybe it does if you bribe me with beer.” And to make a point he drank half his beer in a swing. 

“So, what are the plans? Are you taking me to a unusual tour by the city or what?” He asked curiously.

Alice snorted when the couch complained under Hellboy's weight, letting out a fake offended gasp when he said her place was tiny. "It is not my fault you're huge! Besides, that couch held your weight the one time I had to patch you up, it shouldn't break now," she pointed, chuckling at the memory of that first meeting.

"You and I both, I don't have any intention of bringing demons into this realm. I've watched enough horror movies to one how that ends. But I have met way too many people who want me to contact a demon the second they learn about my powers, so "no demons" had to become a house rule," she said with a shrug, grinning. "You're the only exception. Feel special."

At the question, Alice hummed, flopping down beside Hellboy on the couch, wincing when the couch creaked again. "Might replace the couch legs with bricks to make it more "Hellboy friendly"," she laughed. "It'll also give the place a more college-like aesthetic." she rested her feet on the coffee table. "I'll be honest, I tried to plan ahead on what to do but I have no idea what you'd be up to doing. Unless I take you to a college party or to that park that has stray cats infestation, this town is super boring," she admitted. "There's also the campus, you're talking to one of six students that have access to the morgue."
