So, guess who had to change her DNS just to be active on this site....
To make this story a weeny bit short, let me tell you.
Last Saturday, when I was trying to get access to Tumblr just to promote the newest season of Monogatari, a BH6 fanfic of one of my friends, all of a sudden, the app wouldn't load.
One dau, after reinstalling the app, it still wouldn't load. When I tried it out on web search..
THIS.. IS WHAT CAME LAUNCHING TOWARDS MY EYEBALLS!
As one last resort, I made a new FB page, and at the same time, a post regarding the future.
Some minutes later, I decided to search "Tumblr" on Facebook's search engine. And to my surprise, turns out, I wasn't actually the only one experiencing this issue, but rather.. ..people (mostly Filipinos) from the exact same country I come from: Philippines.
Turns out, not only did the government flag the site as an illegal and unlicensed gambling site, the blocked access to the site on internet providers like PLDT, Smart, Converge, etc.
I did some more resurch and it turns out, there is a WAY, a hacker-like way to access the platform even though it was banned. By going to the wi-fi setting, you could set the ip settings to "Static" and change the DNS numbers to something else, you could return to Tumblr in no time.
While I'm glad that I got back to the site itself, I'm starting to get concerned mysel. I've never did a hack a hacker would do. Which is why instead of taking my FB page down, I will be using it as my backup just in case I get barred from accessing the site again.

I just hope that the government, mostly DICT, could do something about this. Tumblr is a blog site. I. REPEAT. TUMBLR IS A BLOG SITE, BOT A GAMBLING SITE!!

for some reason*, a lot of our local internet providers' servers have tumblr (and only tumblr, afaik) blocked as of late last night! as in with no way to open it!
this has happened to me and all the other filipinos i know online!
this is easily fixed by switching to another DNS server of your choice (it's just copy-pasting!) ingat!:

*edit: it's been shown tumblr has been flagged as an illegal gambling site—exact reasoning has not been given as of march 10 2026, but i can assume it might have to do with how shady tumblr ads tend to be—similar to what's often shown on banned sites, the ads often don't appeal to users, are not verified to be safe to click, and only benefit the site as they're paid advertisments.
Also, reminding anyone that any socmed site theyre banning is definitely bad, just because you dont like twitter or anything else doesnt mean its okay to ban may socmed sites, you by default are promoting and allowing censorship. can we be not stupid. this is actually serious

Hey guys! Since new episodes of Big Hero 6: The Revived series return in 3 hours, I just want to remind y'all that those episodes are part of the climax of the first arc, which is why I recommend reading the entire fic from episode 1 to episode 12 (both a and b).
For episodes 8 to 10, I recommend starting with episode 9, then episode 10, then finally episode 8, before moving on to episode 11.
That way, you guys are keeping track with the plotlines.
Okay so this christmas was a bit different for me this year. Instead of being stuck inside my house, me and my mom went on a provincial trip to visit my relatives!
Basically, it was the time for me to unwind and reflect with the help of nature. And during that period, I worked on some Big Hero 6 content while out of the city.
And today, as I'm writing this, I'm back to the city, in time for New Years and before S1A returns and before I get to school.
And I decided that instead of posting fanfics at 3:00PM Philippine Standard Time, I decided to make future updates 2 hours later. That way, anyone in the US will not have to stay awake all night waiting for a new episode to be uploaded. I don't wanna see them up at 2:00AM EST..
That's all I can say, and remember, there are only a few days left before my AMA button is unavailable. Thank you 2025 for a fantastic year, and I can't wait to spend time with you, 2026.
