Last year I did my first Memorial Day Murph with no weight and it took me about 68 minutes. This year I wore my plates and finished in 47:12. Still room for improvement but I'm happy with that pr. One thing that allowed me to improve was focusing on why we do this wod every year on this weekend. I thought about the men and women who gave everything to this country. I knew that no matter how much I was suffering it was nothing compared to their sacrifice. The CrossFit community does this workout as a small gesture of appreciation to all who have given us the ability to do this at will in our great country. But it will never be enough to repay some for how much they have done to give us that freedom. #somegaveall #neverenough
