Although Logan Hills comes off as a childish and naive young adult, he isn’t one to be messed with. Logan spent most of his childhood on the streets of Seoul Korea before moving to America when he was about seven to eight years of age. Since his father was originally from states, Logan was taught how to speak English and managed to fit his way through the cultural differences he was faced with in America. Even though Logan became accustomed to the new country, he could never quite manage to fit in with the other kids in school. He knew he was different, but he didn’t really understand why others would avoid him. Maybe it was because he found enjoyment in putting dead animals under the teachers desk, or maybe it was because he would occasionally throw violent temper tantrums during lessons- Logan just assumed that he had a different mentally then the other kids.
Eventually, Logan’s actions and behaviors became worse and before he knew it, he was put through a psychoanalysis. Throughout this test, Logan had shined some light on his mental state and had no other choice, but to be sent to a mental hospital.
Mental hospitals weren’t a place Logan would be at forever though. He was released after showing some “improvement” and went back to live with his parents. However, thing’s soon took a toll when a mysterious fire was started at Logan’s home. He was the only one who escaped alive since his parents were both asleep and from there, Logan was put in a lot of group homes. One would think a young child would be sadden and depressed after the loss of ones parents, but for Logan, this wasn’t the case. He just continued on with his life and acted as if nothing happened.
Being in group homes did have a affect on him though. Logan began hanging out with bad influences and did many bad thing’s while being in that little clique. He was later removed from that foster home and put in another where he had met a boy named Oogie. After meeting Oogie, Logan decided to change his name to Lock and has gone by the name ever since. He later met Barrel, and then later met Shock. The four of them were inseparable. When it came to crime or just regular pranks, they all seemed to have fun and enjoyed each others company.
When it came to education however, Lock felt like he was the most serious about it then the others. He actually liked to study, which the others would tease him about it since there was the whole asian stereotype about them being smart and what not, but Lock did great in school. He got many scholarships and decided to take up the offer to attend Seoul University. So, he left his friends behind and went to school in Korea.
Things didn’t go so well in Korea though. Lock got involved in a lot of dirty work and ended up doing jail time in Seoul. He eventually got bailed out with the help of his grandparents that lived there and stayed with them for a bit. His grandparents insisted he still go to college and gave him the offer going to college for free, which he freely accepted.
Lock has Psychosis. It’s a mental illness that causes disconnection from reality and the side effects can differ. His Psychosis has had a large impact on his life, and is what cause him to start the fire that killed his parents.
