There can be false beards, grey beards or even bearded women, but there’s one thing for sure : beard is trendy ! Considering its strong presence on the internet, the question can be asked : is hair 2.0 creative ? Everyone either bald as an egg or fuzzy chins admirer must admit that this hairy community is a real bearded web phenomenon…

Young director Antoine Besse doesn’t hide his admiration for Raymond Depardon and his film The Modern Life. With a similar approach, he draws a pastoral portrait of his friends and family using a slightly out of phase tonality. In a superb visual style, Antoine shows his characters attraction for a so called urban culture and its sensitive adaptation to a rural environment.

Vermibus is a street artist and activist who has apparently a grudge against the advertising world he used to work for. He also seems to have kept a kind of taste for advertisement posters from his former job. His project Dissolving Europe has indeed diverted original artworks from famous brands visuals in the heart of six big european cities and took 18 days and one hundred interventions to achieve. Mr Vermibus technique consists of dissolving images and advertising posters using acid to make them look artistic again and thus recreating a new brand image !
