Hey guys.. Its Jessi... SO I AM MAKING A VIDEO LATER BUT STORY TIME!!!!
I had work today, but I left my phone at home, and although I usually get picked up from work, for whatever reason today I didnt. SO halfway through my shift ( I work in fast food, yayyyy) Myself and another girl, alex, slipped at the same time because some dumb manager was mopping improperly.
I think I broke or sprained my foot, and Alex broke her freshly healed wrist ( she broke it a few months back too) and had to go to hospital in an ambulance. I could only work todays shift out of my three this week so I had to continue working. 5PM came, time to go home, and It didnt even cross my mind to call mum from work and tell her id hurt my foot.
keeping in mind I hate walking with a passion ( and this is probably why) I headed off towards my house, and remembered I had leggings and one of my @taylorswift shirts in my bag ( the one that makes me look ugly cos its way too big and grey ) but still better than my blouse and jeans, cap and apron. SO me being me I went to the other fast food restraunt across the street from work, and down a little, to get changed. Now I only had around $10 by the end of this , I used $6 at work to buy lunch, and the rest later on in the story. Anyway i didnt realise i had more money than I did by the time i was changed, but found around $3.80 in my bag at the very bottom, so I walked in the opposite direction to my house to go to Australias version of burger king, to get their $3 Nuggets, and kept walking into town, because by this time my foot was burning in pain. Im too shy to ask people for their phones or anything incase they say no, but on the way to get my nuggets I was stopped by a very creepy South Arabian guy or something who said hi and i said hi back and kept walking because, im polite, but he kept following me, stopped me and I KID YOU FUCKING NOT stopped me and blocked my path and was all “ you very beautiful, you very very beautiful, you be a beautiful girlfriend”
I was all like “WTF?” in my head because I was literally wearing old leggings, an oversized tee and has my hair in a bun (and however tumblr girl that may sound I ASSURE you that when I do it i dont look cute AT ALL)
I walked down to the Payphone but couldnt call my mum, i could only text her with a limited amount of numbers, the message was something like this.
“ Hey mum its jess, I needyou to meet me at library thats where I am OK” and walked across to the library, where I found the building ( and bathrooms) Shut, by this time it was 6 pm. I was hit on again and a car pulled up, but i ignored it obviously, and I left after 40 minutes because i didnt think mum was getting me
I was on the direct opposite side of the city to my house, about 15KM away, and it was like 40 minutes away from getting dark and the sun was already setting. I had no idea what direction to go, and because it was saturday everything was shut. SO I BLINDLY STARTED WALKING.
As it got dark I had a panic attack on the street, because i was lost, yes, 15 yr old me was lost. around 7pm i saw a school zone, and prayed that it would give me a sense of direction, and thank the lord it did, its right near my house.
As soon as I saw the Church, and then the Boarding house on the end of the street I started crying because I was so relieved. I was almost dead by this point, I had been at work with a broken foot for 6 hrs, and then walking around with no drink or anything lost for almost 3. I shit you not like as i was on my street do you wanna know who pulled up behind me?!
Now, this isnt the first time ive had no phone and had to use the last of my money to payphone her wiithout a reply, nor the first ive had to walk home because i though she wast coming.
AND THE OTHER TIME THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I WAS ALMOST HOME AND SHE PULLED UP BEHIND ME.
The first thing i said to her was literally
“ WOw, you do this a lot hey, Your getting good at it”.
SO yah . thats how i almost died, got raped, kidnapped and got lost in the one night,
ANd now im home and al my stuff is at my best friends but because i was crying when her mum vclled the sleepoveer was canceled because she thinks im in a “mood” when i was actually just in pain.
Oh also, Taylor, I probably wont see you in melbourne because mum sold my tickets because i was sick and wouldnt get out of bed, so theres that. :’(
