Logan was more playful than some might’ve told of the boy so when Stefan asked for him to play in leaves that was just raked, he couldn’t say no to the invite. “Just know, you’re cleaning this up when we’re done,” he grinned before jumping into the leaves with a chuckle, enjoying himself.

“Oh, please there’s nothing to be jealous about because Alexia and I are way better than you and Theo.” she states firmly while sticking her tongue out at him teasingly. “Aren’t we already doing that though, silly?” 

“In your dreams, of course,” he replied with a goofy grin. “True but as a date, not as just friends.”

“Not even if the person you love threw you the party?” he rises an eyebrow, frowning a bit knowing that his parents meant the world to him. “That just means that you have to keep trying until she fully forgives you or she gives you another chance and all.” Theo licks his lips a bit as he chuckles. “I am your best friend of course I am lovely.” 

“I guess I should act more happy about the fact she planned this for me and everything but just knowing the fact it’s for my birthday puts me off,” he sighed wanting to enjoy himself but he couldn’t. “And I will, it’s just, weird, it’s like before we dated, but worse,” Logan told Theo as he remembered pinning after Ariella in secret. “Where’s the lie in that one.”

“Sadly,” she teased him while smiling softly at his chuckle. “You know if you wanted to spend one on one time with me, you could of just asked, right?” 

“Are you just jealous because Alexia and you will never have what Theo and I have?” He teased back with another chuckle. “I know now. So this is me asking to spend the rest of my birthday with you.”

“Nope, but because of the birthday party and all, you just seem extra grumpy.” he replies while placing his hand up in surenderence. “Or something good might come from it?” he reasons with him, rising an eyebrow a bit. “Then, I’ll beat the shit out of you.” 

“Never been a fan since my parents got divorced, to be honest.” He muttered, knowing it never been the same since then. “Maybe... But I have made hints at us having a future together still and she kind of just gave me, ‘can you not’ looks or at least that’s how I took them.” Logan scratched the back of his head. “Wow, what a lovely friend you are.”

“Oh, yeah very true.” Ariella says as she nods her head a bit. “So you’re not excited about anything that could happen today.. like at all?” 

“So I have to know him,” he chuckled. “I’m excited about this date... or not date, whatever you wanna call it, anyway, I just miss spending one on one time with you.”

“You are, you not even excited about your birthday.” he points out, rolling his eyes at his friend. “And how exactly will you move too fast and lose her?” he rises an eyebrow curious as to what his answer was going to be. “You better.” 

“Me not being excited for my birthday has nothing to do with me being a grump.” He replied with a glare. “I don’t know, tell her I love her still and she just kind of push me away, maybe?” He shrugged, not sure what he was saying anymore all he knew he was afraid of losing Ariella forever. “And if I don’t?”

“You seem sure about that.” Ariella teases before following him towards the exit. “So… you excited at all? It’s your birthday!” 

“He’s my husband after all,” Logan chuckled not being able to help himself. “Eh, not really, the only good thing about birthdays is seeing who cares enough to remember.”

“You are grumpy as shit, you shut up.” he says  while rolling his eyes at him. “Then I suggest that you try and get her to be your forever, don’t make the mistake of waiting, she might be into someone else if you do wait.” Theo tells him. “Yup, only sometimes.” 

“No I am not, so you shut up.” He replied in a groan. “I’m not trying to wait but I also seem to have to move slow so she won’t hurt me, you know? Because what if I move too fast and lose her?” Logan asked. “I’ll take that.”

“Are you sure? Theo might hold a grudge on you..” Ariella trails off glancing up at him thinking about it before nodding her head a bit. “Mm.. alright, then.. let’s go.” 

“He’ll get over it.” Logan waved one of his hand a little before smiling at her when she agreed. “Let’s go,” he spoke as he started walking out.

“It was not a joke because you totally are an old grump.” he states. “You two are in love, but aren’t officially together again.. god damn confusing as hell.” Theo states while shaking his head as well. “You’re not annoying.. only sometimes.” 

“I am not an old grump, shut it.” he rolled his eyes. “It doesn’t feel like she wants me some days because of the pregnancy and I don’t know... what I do know is that I want her forever,” Logan admitted. “Only sometimes? Thanks.”

“Hey..you’re older than I am.” Kai teased back, a playful grin growing on his lips as he eyed the two kids clinging to his friend. “You’ve been busy I see. How’re things going?”

“Still old nonetheless,” he pointed out with a chuckle. He shrugged, “great, got another show to do next week, Ariella is actually enjoying her pregnancy even though, personally, whenever she’s up, I’m up so let’s say I don’t get much sleep,” Logan admitted.

“You are very welcome boo thing, it’s my job.” She commented with a wink, before laughing softly as he blew out the candle, “Honey I know you would! I hope you made a wish,” She muttered, pulling out the candle and handing him the cupcake, “So what would Logan Clarentine rather be doing on his birthday?”

“You do your job well then,” he replied with his own laugh. “Of course, I made a wish, I’ve been doing this for twenty-four years after all,” he replied with his own wink. “Playing my guitar? Watching a movie? Want half of the cupcake?” He asked.

“Are you sure you don’t want any of your other friends tagging along?” she questions rising an eyebrow. “Like wouldn’t they look for you?” 

“I’m sure, I wouldn’t want anyone else besides maybe Theo but he’ll get over it.” Logan chuckled before taking her hands in his. “Trust me, please,” he whispered.

“Oh, I know for a fact that you are.” Theo replies while nodding his head at him friend smiling a bit. “Then you better smile and act like you’re having a blast, that girl could easily read your emotions, it’s scary.” 

“That was a joke... I’m not that old,” he pouted a bit. “Because we’re in love, when you love someone, you can read them.” Logan mused, shaking his head a little. “I’m annoying.”
