most people would think before they charged into another realm && faced down its princess —– but most people aren’t children of thor,  emboldened not only by their father’s title,  but also by his spirit. magni storms through the halls,  ignoring his aunt’s concern ( and then his uncle’s ) until he finds torvi.

her chambers had been quiet, a reprieve from the flurry of activity that has only just recently taken over outside her door. and she relaxes, reclined on the chaise with her dog at her feet and a book in her lap. ( a midgardian one she will never admit to loving as much as she does ) of course now her cousin’s shouts ruin the beautiful afternoon.

‘ torvi, ’ she replies evenly, setting her book down. ‘ no but from your tone i must assume you believe i have. ’

Jörmungandr hated it here. He was an outcast with his own people, they all worshipped Thor and he was an enemy of Thor, though he believe it to be petty fued no one would change their thoughts.

So he lived away from the town of New Asgard, in a small hut near the waters edge. He was in peace near the water, in the water. He did everything for himself, so he never needed to visit the city and noone ever visited him.

The serpent had a daily dose of exercise by running along the beach before going swimming into the ocean as far as the human body could take him.

He had stopped as he came across another walking the beach, confused as noone ever came this far and he blinked at her.

“I did not mean to disturb, no-one ever comes out this far.” He spoke in the language of the Gods in reply as he could not speak anything else.

silence falls as she waits for him to say more or to go on. norns know he seems to lack the same awareness as everyone else in the town. it is as if they all lost all interesting facets of their personalities and all emotions outside of cheerfulness when asgard fell. ‘ then go past. pretend we have never crossed paths and i will, quite easily, do the same. ’ blue eyes widen as she motions for him to go around her, annoyance evident.
