Hi guys! I need help!

So here’s my dilemma. Long story short. I went to high school with this guy. I always liked him but never talked, blah blah blah. Fast forward 8 years after high school I kinda got involved in a community thing he was doing to try to get involved with him. I’m a chicken shit and couldn’t ask straight up. The community program was over and I never did anything. So I texted him 2 weeks ago to go on a date (I know a grew a pair finally lol). He agreed and said he would love to. We set all the plans but no date. I told him to let me know when he’s available, he said he would but hasn’t texted yet.

Question is: should I retext him again or just completely let it go...

If anyone wants to help out and give girl who has no dating experience some help, I can explain things a little better ♥️
