This little guy flew into my car while we were driving on the interstate. Shocked he made it. Luckily was able to release him in a better location then where cars are zooming constantly.

Old Man Boo is still as grumpy as ever, even after a bath on a hot day.

And then... I uncovered a granite slab my father laid down here about 30 years ago. I'm determined to uncover all them from this childhood garden path.

When in Life Is Short So Make It Sweet, Curtis talks about his grandmother's gardens, it hits home. This was once beautiful and even though it still is in a wild way, I want to bring some of it back.

When I see this, I see what happened when life got hard and things like this got neglected. There are plants in this mess my grandparents grew in their greenhouses that are irreplaceable now, not to mention what own parents did.

I want some of it back, i can appreciate it now like i couldn't when I was a kid. And Im stubborn enough to uncover every damn stone by hand. 🤣

Do that's all I got. I hope everyone here is finding some quiet in this loud world.

I saw a post going around a while ago (including from a non-US moot) about getting comfortable lying to law enforcement

Here's the thing. In the US.

DO NOT TALK TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

If you are in a situation where you're lying to law enforcement, you are already interacting too much. STOP TALKING.

You can ask if you are free to go. You can keep asking.

Per the National Lawyers Guild, ESPECIALLY do not lie to the FBI. Do not say things to them that could be construed as lying. Those are serious charges. The best way around that is NOT TALKING.

In the words of the National Lawyers Guild: SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Since lying to the FBI is such a serious crime, the feds will sometimes ask questions that they already know the answers to, just to see if you'll lie to them. That way, even if the initial charges turn out to be bullshit, they still got you on obstructing a federal investigation or whatever -- even if they immediately knew it was a lie and therefore were not obstructed in the slightest.

Do not talk to law enforcement.
