okay there’s something else i must say

The thing is, I keep seeing anners (from brazil, at least) hating on Lucas. Saying all kinds of wrong things about him, that he hates his fans, that he hated to play Gilbert and try at all costs not to be mistaken for him. But I have never once seen him say any of those things. Lucas is such an especial, eccentric person who deserves to be protected. 

He is NOT a pleaser, and that’s a good thing.

He dms fans, comments on fan edits. And yet these people keep saying he’s a jerk because of the things he does to protect his relationship with Shannon. He is RIGHT! I mean, how many people harassed her saying that he should be with Amybeth? FOR REAL WTF? 

But what pissed me off enough for me to be here is to see these fans spreading lies about Lucas.

You have all seen that Q&A video on Shannon’s youtube channel, right? I saw this thread on twitter in which they cut off the part where Lucas says “it keeps getting creepier and creepier”, as in seeing the fans’ reaction to his relationship was creepy. And this fan actually said that he was refering to his role as Gilbert, like he didn’t enjoy it.

Guys really? Do yall have to lie? And the worst is that a LOT of people believed in that, including myself before seeing the full video. 

I thought that, of all people, this fandom would be tollerant and loving. And some of us are not.

I don’t know if you guys agree or even know what I’m talking about, but I just had to somehow register how upset I am.

I find it outrageous that AnnE ended like that. Here’s a list of all the things we need closure on:

What happened to Ka’kwet?

Did the letter Anne and Matthew sent to the Globe have any effect? Did Canada support the natives?

Jerry deserves an apology from Diana

Gilbert and Anne liked each other for years, and all we get is A KISS? We should see Gilbert coming back. Shirbert living in Green Gables together, raising a family!

What about Delphine reading the letter Mary left to her?

And Anne telling stories about her mother, sharing her recipes and taking Delphine under her wing?

Could Jerry possibly go to school? Choose some other career than farming? Help his family?

And the potential great friendship between Bash and mrs. Stacy!

Cole must’ve been so happy living with Josephine, we deserve to see that happening too!

Also, imagine how great it would be to see Anne becoming a teacher!

I feel like the story ended on its beginning!

Guys, WE DESERVE MORE THAN 3 SEASONS! Let’s spam Netflix and Disney Plus, let’s use the hashtags nonstop!
