I love Lily and Sirius’ relationship but just imagine theirs nicknames:

At some point during the marauder’s 6th year when Sirius was constantly trying to get with Remus

(Remus and Sirius alone in the common room)

Sirius: Moony, let’s play spin the bottle

Remus: (peers up from his book) Sirius their’s only the two of us

Sirius: ...I know

Remus: (literally leaves)

You can’t tell me that McGonagall wasn’t a fully devoted wolfstar shipper...you just can’t.

Okay just imagine this: Halloween 1975, Sirius originally planning on wearing a Batman costume but instead went with a Wonder Woman costume and James feeling really stupid in his Superman costume since he’s being upstaged by a feminine Sirius who looks really hot in a skirt and thigh high red boots. Then you’ve got Lily, Remus, and Peter (who tagged along last minute) as characters from the Wizard of Oz. Lily is Dorothy, Remus is the scarecrow, and Peter is the cowardly lion. Marlene went as something super gory, like this girl has a plastic knife in her head with fake bloody and creepy makeup whilst Mary went all sexy flapper from the 20s.

Now imagine the Gryffindor Halloween party that they throw every year. Sirius is dancing with all the ladies, James is drunk and bellowing some rock song from Sirius’ record, Mary is trying to get herself a man while Marlene is trying to hit on Dorcas. Peter is probably passed out somewhere in his fluffy lion costume. Then we have Lily and Remus comfortably sitting by a windowsill chatting. Remus is fairly immersed in the conversation, fire whisky in his cup, acting pretty chill until his eyes catch sight on those red boots. His eyes trail but and he whiteness more and more of Sirius’ costume. Remus just stares completely stricken cause Sirius Black looks so fucking hot. It was only when Lily nudged him a bit did he snap out of his trance and felt his cheeks fluster.

Remus tries his hardest to concentrate on Lily and whatever the hell she’s saying but his eyes always end up back on him, the way he dances so freely and without care, the way the light sweat glistens against his forehead, and fingers run through his silky hair.

So that October night in 1975 during the Gryffindor Halloween party was when Remus had his gay awakening.

Okay this is such a random thought but you can’t tell me that James wouldn’t be obsessed with the movie Moana and literally belt “How far I’ll go” in the shower. It would annoy the crap out of Lily and Harry would too be over it cause like “Dad, you’ve sung it a million times, just relax.” But Sirius would be super into it and would sing along with James, the two doing mini performances with choreographed dance moves. Meanwhile Lily and Remus are watching them dumbfounded like, “What did we marry into?”
