My fic hit 1,000 hits this morning!

When you write a scene for your fanfic that you just wanna squee about but you can’t because you have to publish that scene first.

Me, basically with every scene I write in advance.

I love that part of writing where you’re so excited about what’s coming you can’t wait to get it down so you can read it.

The other problem with writing fics out of order is that sometimes you write a scene you know has to happen but you dread it coming, so when you reach that chapter you just reeeeeeally don’t want to do it.

Note to self: stop writing scenes for your HS2 rewrite when your HS1 rewrite isn’t even 1/3 of the way done yet.

(And OMG, you do NOT need to do the series with Luci as the main LI too, 😂)

That super fun cycle of being too shy/embarassed/whatever to promote your fic in fic promotion spaces while simultaneously hoping others read (and enjoy) your fic.

I got an idea for another scene rewrite (HS2) while I was walking my dog this morning.

My poor long fic will never get done. 😭😭😭 There’s just so much filler in HS1 that isn’t necessary when writing a Malbonte fic and I don’t know how to push through it anymore.

Tfw you realize you picked your MC’s name for a reason, but with more thought it’s even more perfect that you’d originally meant it to be.

The problem with writing fics out of order is that you sometimes get really excited about a scene you wrote that isn’t supposed to happen for several chapters. Then writing the rest feels like a slog until you get to that point.

Writing fan fiction be like: write three chapters in two weeks, then take a four month hiatus for the next one. There is no in between.

I did a different picture of him for the Discord server a bit ago, but since then I’ve picked up new techniques so I wanted to redo him. He’s gorgeous! 😍

The difference between the two is pretty neat. I might post a comparison on my wip blog because it shows my art progression.
