Y'all, I forgot which balance stat option I picked in the Christmas massacre episode so when I realised that there's another balance stat question on ep 7 I panicked and moved on but after episode 12 I found myself still confused (and not reaching the measure bearer achievement which I believe will be important for Vicky later)...so I restarted the whole season 🙏🥹 wish me luck?

From the episode I last read (it was Vicky POV) I could see how they're trying to focus on the exhaustion and hopelessness Eragon is fighting as the world starts tipping towards darkness (cause the Angels became weaker when Shepha died and Shephamalum was freed + other factors like the sins not being dissipated, Abaddon holding the souls captive etc.) and maybe it's a reason why he's being much more of a prick than he usually is but Vicky rightly points out that it's really no reason for him to become so cruel and indifferent...(His excuse seemed to be that he's fought many wars and he ain't being usurped before fighting Shephamalum 🤦♀️)...why is he still fearing for his place among the order? How much more would Vicky and everyone else need to prove their loyalty to him? Most people who are turning away from the angels and light are generally being coerced into it by Shephamalum and his followers... everyone's trying to survive and the pressure and stakes are higher than ever but he'll only weaken the Order with how he's behaving...and I felt bad for him but not enough to forget that he wasn't under any influence when he ripped through Vicky's mind or ordered Rebecca's death knowing she was possessed by another entity... really starting to think he's giving into his own darkness tbh...idek anymore, why did I expect him to be better after resurrection?!🫠...
Anyway, on a lighter (but not very joyful) note, here's Cain being himself when he discreetly caught Donnie (who was just looking for his sister in whatever's left of humanity btw 🥹🥲😞):
And here's Shephamalum once again being incapable of keeping from speaking about Malbonte...*sigh* guys he's definitely deeply attached to him, whatever microgram of twisted love he might or might not hold in his ancient dusty heart (or whichever equivalent organ he has) it's exclusively for him 🙌😞 (I still remember his monologue about hatred being a pure emotion that connects himself and Malbonte and it also being their form of love, the purest type he said...it was a memory Vicky accidentally happened upon while trying to escape in S2 ep1...and I was just 🙂🤦♀️😀)...I keep saying this, he's like the worst of the worst toxic in-laws ever, my girl Vicky really had one good parent figure written in her fate... (and he's reminiscing about him as he's actively feeding on human sins from my poor girl Lane like, can you not make it about yourself or Malbonte for once?!!):
I love how Lane has been clocking him, she was straight up calling him out on his hypocrisy (internally of course cause she wants to live remember?) You hate your brother (Shepha, your freaking twin btw) who locked you away for the good of the world you two created, the same world you two chained up the literal Universe to save...and that's why you still keep the gifts he gave you around yourself... y'all, this is just an overblown family feud and everyone in existence got caught in between fr, free my girls from this drama 😤🙌

Anyhoot, just going to keep playing and trying to stay sane amidst this chaos which has been overwhelming my mind, I'll take it slower now for my sake...I wish anyone that finished reading my rant something good happening in their day (something that makes your heart feel warm and/or smile)... 💜🫂✨
