Let me tell you about my best friend

My best friend is the type to make his life look easy. He posts about all his work stuff on social media, talks about it humbly when people ask how it’s going, and doesn’t make a big deal with everyone tells him that he’s doing so well at such a young age. little does everyone know how much stress and struggle this job gives him.

about a week ago, I’m seas sitting in his office at 8:32 pm when the office closed hours ago. I’ve was watching him yell and cuss at his computer because his printer won’t print his double sided flyer and his internet is being slow so he can’t answer to his emails fast enough. He told me we have to go to target to get supplies for the open house and that we have to come back to the office so he can finish his keynote (realtor vocab. I didn’t know what it was either) And sort through the copious amount of paperwork on his desk. On top of that, his boss was constantly texting him reminding him of all the stuff needed for their open house for that weekend. Although he’s been complaining of how he never gets a break nonstop for the last Half an hour, I can just tell how much he loves his job.(ended up leaving at 2:30 am)

As much as I give him shit, he’s probably one of the people I admire the most. I met him in high school when we were just 14 and he was so different. I would have never thought that 14 year old boy would turn out the man he is today. I don’t think he knows how proud of him…probably because I don’t tell him. Ew gross. Lol but in all seriousness, I know he’s going to go far in life and success in anything he puts His mind to. He inspires me to just get out there and take risks. To work my hardest, no matter if I feel like giving up. And what impresses me the most, no matter how much he’s accomplished, he’s one of the most humble people I know. He has no problem going out of his way to help someone. Trust me he’s saved my ass so many times. He's always willing to hang out with me when I'm in a shitty mood even if it's just staying in and watching movies all night, go on random adventures, try new things, etc. Idk how I got so lucky to be stuck with someone like him for the rest of my life but I’m glad to know he’ll always be by my side
