𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒍!
It was a random tuesday, (y/n) who was busy tending to her patients all day didn’t have time to check her phone. She only got around it when she went back to her apartment late at night.
(Y/n) sighed dropping to the couch, what a long day she thought, as she checked her phone. She received an email earlier today. It was about their school reunion trip. It’s been 10 years since they graduated, but it felt like it’s only been a day. (Y/n) sighed as she remembered the graduation. That day was the most painful yet happiest day for her. (Y/n) dragged herself to the bathroom to clean up.
That night she stared at her ceiling wide awake she suddenly grabs her phone and typed something "sure I'll go" she responds to the email and sighed.
The reunion is in two days so (y/n) shopped for clothes, while shopping she bumped into Lea her old friend from high school. ‘Oh (Y/N) how are you?? I haven’t seen you since graduation” Lea said with a smile on her face “i’m fine i was just so busy with my duties in hospital and some personal matter” (y?n) answered her old friend “i heard about you and yeonjun” Lea suddenly opens the topic “oh that.. i honestly didn’t see it coming. I mean a week before we were doing fine you know” (y/n) said saddened but with a smile on her face. The two talked for hoyurs making up for loss time.
(Y/n) went home that day feeling happy and relieved when Lea agreed to go to the trip together though it still didn’t erase her anxious feeling bubbling up inside. The day of the reunion trip was fast approaching, for (y/n) it felt like she only did two long hospital duty but in reality it was five hospital duty. (Y/n) woke up feeling giddy and anxious, it was the day of the trip and since she already packed her things last night she had extra time to kill. When it hit 10pm (y/n) was out the door and on her way to Lea’s house, the two agreed that (y/n) would take her car to Lea’s house and from there they will just commute since they would all be taking a van.
When the two arrived (y/n)’s heart dropped, she saw Yeonjun near the van “lea i want to bak out” the girl said hiding in Lea’s arm “it’s going to be fine” Lea said smiling at the girl now hiding behind her arm “OH! It’s Lea and (y/n)” someone said, Yeonnjun who was busy looking at his phone looked up and his and (y/n)’s eyes met but the girl just looked away, suddenly remembering how he ended things abruptly.

It has been a fun trip on the way to the resort, lot’s of karaoke and recalling high school memories, when they arrived in the hotel they all rested for a bit before meeting up in the dining hall to eat before doing some fun activities, it was now dinner time, they were all laughing and joking around re-calling their high school moments. (Y/n) was smiling though Lea can see that it was more of a bitter smile rather than a happy one.
Yeonjun, who was sitting across (y/n), looked up from his plat and saw (y/n) smiling bitterly, he too smiled bitterly as the memories of their high school life filled with romance suddenly ended
