Hanging with Freddy, a cigarette smoking, gin drinking 90 year old vet who happened to be stationed near my grandfather in WW2. "Why am I here still? Who knows? Not us, that's for sure! We are all roaches, termites with no answer to unexplainable questions. That guy Spike Lee said it best when he said "Always do the right thing." before writing me a Dickinson poem on a napkin- creased in my back pocket.
