Fellow Sherlockians!
We would like to apologise for recent lack of information on the upcoming events, studies and work got in the way of ogranising anything. But we're back, and more than ready to drag you around London with us!
Our next event is going to take place next Saturday, 16th of May. It will include a nice walk and plenty of time for conversation with other Sherlockians. You can find more info HERE.
A week after that the London MCM Comic Con Expo is taking place, and if any of you know about Sherlock meetups happening at that time, please let us know, we'd love to advertise them here!
Once the MCM hype is over we are going to have a nice picnic in Regent's Park to celebrate the coming of summer. More info HERE.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at our future meetings!

The Meeting Problem
'For a charming week we wandered up the Valley of the Rhone, and then, branching off at Leuk, we made our way over the Gemmi Pass, still deep in snow, and so, by way of Interlaken, to Meiringen. It was a lovely trip, the dainty green of the spring below, the virgin white of the winter above; but it was clear to me that never for one instant did Holmes forget the shadow which lay across him. In the homely Alpine villages or in the lonely mountain passes, I could tell by his quick glancing eyes and his sharp scrutiny of every face that passed us, that he was well convinced that, walk where we would, we could not walk ourselves clear of the danger which was dogging our footsteps.' ~"The Final Problem"
Dear friends!
The time has come for another meeting of ours.
We are going to start from the Embankment station at noon of the 16th of May and make our way north from there, through places well known to Sherlock Holmes and many Londoners. Our little journey will take us from busy Covent Garden through vibrant Soho to elegant Fitzrovia. We will finish with lunch at Russell Square, so come prepared!
Looking forward to seeing you there :)

The Adventure of the Regent’s Stone
'It was pleasant to Dr. Watson to find himself once more in the untidy room of the first floor in Baker Street which had been the starting-point of so many remarkable adventures. He looked round him at the scientific charts upon the wall, the acid-charred bench of chemicals, the violin-case leaning in the corner, the coal-scuttle, which contained of old the pipes and tobacco. Finally, his eyes came round to the fresh and smiling face of Billy, the young but very wise and tactful page, who had helped a little to fill up the gap of loneliness and isolation which surrounded the saturnine figure of the great detective. "It all seems very unchanged, Billy. You don’t change, either. I hope the same can be said of him?" Billy glanced with some solicitude at the closed door of the bedroom. "I think he’s in bed and asleep," he said. It was seven in the evening of a lovely summer’s day, but Dr. Watson was sufficiently familiar with the irregularity of his old friend’s hours to feel no surprise at the idea. “That means a case, I suppose?”’ ~"The Adventure of the Mazarin Stone"
Hello everyone!
We are going to have a wonderful picnic in Regent's Park to celebrate the coming summer, just like we did last year! Bring blankets, food and drinks. And don't forget your good humour and a story or two to tell, we will be there to listen! If anyone wants to bring some games, feel free to do so.
Looking forward to seeing you there :)

The Adventure of the Three Locations
'It was in the year ’95 that a combination of events, into which I need not enter, caused Mr. Sherlock Holmes and myself to spend some weeks in one of our great University towns, and it was during this time that the small but instructive adventure which I am about to relate befell us.' - "The Adventure of the Three Students"
Fellow Sherlockians!
We are back with our fortnightly meetings, starting next Saturday, 7th of February 2015! This time we will take you on an adventure centred around Marylebone and Fitzrovia. We will start our walk outside the Sherlock Holmes Museum at Baker Street at noon, make our way towards North Gower Street to possibly witness the insanity that hides behind the name 'setlock', to finally arrive at a place where, in BBC series Sherlock, everything began. Or, to speak less enigmatically, at Russell Square Gardens.
Hope to see some of you in a week!

I LOVE THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SICK OF DENYING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE IS THE ONLY ADAPTATION OF MY WORK THAT TRULY UNDERSTANDS THE CRUCIAL THEMES
#i’m glad this url went to someone who knew what to do with it
all of these tiny nerds are raffle prizes at today’s tea party hosted by the lovely londonsherlockians and bakerstreetbabes, and i’ll be there myself so come and say hi!
Thank you once more for the contribution! Mycroft, Sherlock and Jim are safe and happy in their new homes (hopefully) :]
went to the bakerstreetbabes and londonsherlockians tea party yesterday, and it was amazing!! lots of tea and nibbles were had, i saw some excellent cosplays (that irene adler one was amazing!) and bumped into some familiar faces (i’m so sorry i didn’t recognise you at first, kafers!), as well as making friends with some new people!
special shoutout to kowabungadoodles (it was so lovely to see you again - apologies if i rambled on a bit!), areyoutryingtodeduceme for the amazing tea and art, as well as the pub adventure after the party, and finally mdsora, deej, boredbyreality and anna for organising this absolute thing of beauty!
Thank you for coming, we're glad you've had fun and we hope to see you at our next meetup! :D
The only pictures I took at the londonsherlockians tea party??? Anyway, proof that I have cute friends: Crystal, Mary, Basil, and Michelle! Also this mug that areyoutryingtodeduceme/Cara drew for me of H & W handcuffed together. I’m predictable.
Tea party was a really good time! Drank a lot of tea, talked with nice people, other friends I didn’t take pictures of, etc etc.
THEN after we got kicked out of the chapel cafe Michelle and I went to a pub nearby and met up with two friends visiting from the States, Kate and Amy, and Kim who lives in Wales (I think). We ate snacks until the LS folks came to join us, and then I bowed out around 9 because of the cold I’m incubating in my lungs.
Conclusion: an excellent day was had by all.
A little bit more about our latest party!
I hope everyone liked the muffins, it took me about three hours to make them! ~Phil
Sherlockian Tea Party shenanigans
Yesterday I went to London for a tea party hosted by the bakerstreetbabes and londonsherlockians for areyoutryingtodeduceme, who was visiting the UK. I (finally!) was able to try some of her delicious fandom inspired Adagio teas, and Cara drew a fantastically adorable sketch of Bilbo and Smaug on a mug for me as well, hurray! :)
I was so happy that mistyzeo and ghostbees were there, I spent most of the party talking with them and Elinor’s fab flatmate Crystal ( 221bcon, I think?), whom I had talked to before but never met, Sora who co-runs LS and another kind person named Mary and whose tumblr name I don’t know.
There was a raffle with some excellent prizes, which Crystal amusingly won several and gave me one of them, a sweet Mycroft wearing his jogging outfit doll. mistyzeo won a Sherlock dvd set, which she declined, and a poster for the Mark Gatiss and Friends event from a few weeks ago, signed by most of the attendees, including Mark, Peter Capaldi and Sue Perkins…and then she gave it to me. I am still gobsmacked by this, it’s one of the nicest things anyone’s ever done for me. <333
Afterwards we said goodbye to lovely ghostbees and walked to the Angel pub in Islington - which as a neverwhere of course gives me all the warm fuzzies, even if it is a Wetherspoons - and met corpsereviver2 and whiskeydaisy who are visiting London on holiday, and @eyes-like-the-afghan-night-sky, and spent several hours chatting about fannish things and London and having a great time. Phil and Anna aka the cutest couple in shatterdomeuk came next, Louise (justlikeluna), and the rest of the londonsherlockians and areyoutryingtodeduceme joined us, and I spent the rest of the evening being horribly awkward sitting next to Cara, spectacularly failing to work up the nerve to talk to her or anyone else new for that matter. Ugh, anxiety. :( We played Cards Against Humanity, which was actually my first time playing it, and I won two rounds, with ‘Raptor Attacks’ and ‘Daniel Radcliffe’s Delicious Arsehole’, which were obviously the best cards in the deck ;-)
I didn’t get home until nearly 1am, but it was definitely worth it - I was so nervous about going because I usually spend meetups and events alone, but I had a wonderful time and I’m so glad I went. :) Thank you for having me, friends! I hope I can see you all again soon <3
“Phil and Anna aka the cutest couple in shatterdomeuk”, I can’t believe people are calling us that, this is so lovely (it makes me squeal with joy if I am to be honest). Thank you for coming to the party, and I’m glad that you’ve had fun! :D
A beautiful review of our recent Tea Party event!
